Most of Gujarati’s are NRI settled in US and they are all foodie people who are found of various Gujarati snacks and other products like festive clothing for which they ask their relatives staying in India or friends to courier them. First Generation NRI demand for only those product that they have used in India they generally don’t like the taste and quality of the spices and snacks available in the Indian stores abroad.
Similarly there is new trend of Indians getting married in US only and not to come to India for performing marriage ceremonies. They organize their marriage functions, baby showers, Sweet 16th or 50th Birthday celebration, anniversary celebrations abroad whereby they keep various Indian dishes and sweets in their menu. With the globalization and exchange programmes many students go to US for further studies and even there are many young individuals who go on H1 base visa for employment purposes to US. They are the one who have stayed in India for years celebrated different festivals and also have enjoyed various snacks prepared on various occasion. They also miss the same abroad and wish to get same snacks there during certain festivals even if they are away from home.
Yourindianstore provides services to Gujarati NRI and PIO in US, starting with selling of snacks, spices and gradually introducing festive combos and clothing. Gujarati’s are found of various snacks and can spend high for the same. The service will be provided through online portal where in snacks from all famous snacks vendor are on sale e.g. Sukhadia from Khambhat, Maharana from Bardoli, Hundraj from Navsari, Jagdish from Baroda.
Yourindianstore is sole proprietorship. Palak Patel is the owner of the firm. Yourindianstore operations are based in Navsari.The business model of Yourindianstore follows the on-demand sourcing model where the store, upon receiving an order from a customer, sources the products and does its packaging. Here the retailer performs a quality check on the product(s) and packages them uniformly before shipping it to the customer.
