Description
Many years have elapsed growing up witnessing the beauty of Cherry Blossom but we don't want to go beyond what we have seen partly because of govt's failure to introduce new steps to promote for Tourism Industry, and partly our negligence to keep it like a national treasure and what we've done so far is cutting down for domestic purposes and for creeper plants to flourish. Nevertheless,We too understand that we are forced to do so to keep away financial constraint.
Are there any alternative solutions ? Thousands of tourists visit Shirui Hills in rainy season but after some weeks the hills look desolate and it continues until next rainy season. Lily's beauty can be seen only if we dare to climb atop the highest range. Indeed , the mystic streams, the exotic flowers and the decorated undergrowth bushes and trees are captivating. So, like Lily's amazing attraction and its contribution to our image and economy, we believe Cherry blossoms can have its own way of enchanting tourists too. It blossoms in spring and autumn season. It can be grown swiftly anywhere in Ukhrul which is very suitable for its growth. It doesn't take long years to grow into adulthood. Just imagine if all the roadways in Ukhrul town and some preserved hills are filled with these magnificent ornamental trees , we don't think tourists will turn their back. But most importantly, we believe the beauty of these blossoms will soften the brutal-hot tempered society caused by daily intake of red hot Naga king chili.. We imagine every denizens and tourists are welcomed with carpets of these flowers guarded on the steep and narrow roadside by these friendly trees.
Along with these awareness , we plan to organize a platform for different levels of competitions like critical debate , creative writing and talent hunt. We also want this festival to promote Blues/Country/Soft music/Folks/Classical in particular on knowing that NE Regions are the forerunners in these genres in India.However,no one will regret going home without electrifying Rock Music. In a long run,if your supports remain consistent , we want to penetrate the heart of India. We will need your support when time comes.
