  This is the real top point of Triund....95% only reach up to the first campsite beside cafes and forest rest house and only few reach to the real top point of Triund..from here you can have 360 degree view of Triund Hill it self and can feel Dhauladhar Mountains up close

  It's a Best Beginner level Trek for the Himalayas. And requires an entire day plus a camping overnight of needed.
  Bookings with guides are very common in McLeodganj & Dharamshala

  A nice place for a weekend trek. Accessible from Mcleodganj. You can take a vehicle till the base or trek all the way. Will take 3-4 hours for the climb 2 hrs for the descent. You can rent tent not he way. You pay it in the shop and once you reach at the top the tent will be ready for you.
  Awesome scenes in the top. Some chai and snack shops however all items will be priced heavily, which is obvious.

  Love the trek......prefer to start treking early morning: if wanna to come same day
  .....otherwise stay on the hill at night is just awesome....beer +bonfire+music+friends=a perfect nght....

  The first mistake I made was leaving all the preparation onto my friends and trusting them blindly about the information on the trek. The trek to Triund is an Easy to Moderate level trek which is very strenuous for novices. The trek was deemed to be 3 hours in total but in actuality it took a lot of people nearly 6-7 hours to climb to the top with the last part being particularly difficult. So, any time you plan for a trek, read extensively about it.
