Ramada Bangalore is a nice old hotel managed by Royal Orchid group. The service quality is good with tasty food at the Tiger trail restaurant. The breakfast quality and spread is nice. The best part of the hotel is its location which is central and accessible easily even by Metro (plus short walk).
Rooms are good and well maintained, service is good, in dinner you will get a thali sometime if buffet is not arranged due to less customer, otherwise near to almost all prime location..
Courteous staff, good restaurant and close to Cantonment Railway station (2 KMs)/ Shivaji Nagar bus stand (0.5 KM)/ Metro Station (0.75 KM). A practical choice for short stay.
Been going to Ramada and it's various earlier avatars (right from when it was called Hotel Harsha) One of the best north Indian restaurants (used to love its open kitchen avatar earlier) Got a nice theme going, though mostly lip service (Tiger Trail is the name of the restaurant) Service has generally been good. And in an ever changing (for WORSE, sadly) Bangalore, still has an old world charm. While staying nearby earlier used to use its swimming pool on a regular basis (dunno if pool is still there. Went back recently after returning to Bangalore after some years. Thankfully, overall experience is still good
Some hotel renovations maybe needed however my stay was wonderful and the staff service is 5 stars!!!! Wifi good . Food excellent ! Rooms neat and tidy
It's relative value for money. The staff were courteous and helpful.
A good place to stay in Bangalore. Room was good.Neat and clean toilet(though small). Staffs were polite and breakfast of Ramada was also very good.
We were like two birds meeting to mate, bad was my fate I unknowingly booked here.
There was a hallway that led to a circular common passage for all of the rooms.
There is a wired smell that you can smell, you may think that it's just temporary , and continue with your business as usual and yet you are here after four hours with the smell now turning into stench.
Now, with such a distasteful smell, I picked up the phone called the help desk. They gave out their hand to help weary me. The guy comes into the room and just sprays toxic, choking spray to make the room smell better, which it does for next 4 minutes. How cool was that?
As the night spreads it's darkness , we hit the bed like other mammals who may or may not have beds. The moment there is a small movement Over the bed the whole bed squeaks. Loud enough for the entire neighborhood to complain to the police about the loud noise.
To make the matters worse, they have decades old furnitures, that look older than my great grandma's first pic.
The furious me the next day sent an stinker mail as well as a bad feedback for the mental torture we endured paying a good sum to them
Decent place to stay. Nice buffet breakfast.
Well located near Shivajinagar. Nice clean rooms, though not very spacious. Bar and restaurant is decent. Visitors parking may be problematic on busy days
Very Nice Rooms and Service
Landmark place in Shivajinagar. I attended a training program on first floor. Cleanliness was maintained properly. The tea and snacks were refreshing. Lunch was excellent. Staff is prompt and always available at your service.
Trainer searched for duster initially. The staff brought it after some time.
Overall good experience.
I stayed at this hotel for two nights with my colleagues. We had also booked the hall for the two-day workshop.
Not only is the location 'just right' but the cost too is. I don't think there is any other hotel in the center of the city, making it convenient for all attendees to easily reach the location.
The stay was very comfortable, the service was courteous and prompt, and the facilities offered met our expectations. When the meetings on the final day extended beyond the committed time, they walked that extra mile and made arrangements for using an alternate room; although smaller, but that made quite a lot of difference.
