After visiting Varadharaja Perumal injimedu, we visited this temple. The location is difficult to access. Can be reached by car or bike. Bus services do run, but one has to be familiar with the timings.

We reached the temple around 8.00 am but the temple was closed. Felt very sad that we could not have the darshan. Waited in the temple, for the priest to come. We decided to move since it was 8.30 am and no sign of the priest in sight. We sang the thevaram song and was about to leave, when the priest came. Felt so happy.

The priest apologized to us and also requested us to stay back, since he is going to do Paal (Milk) abhishegam. We agreed. It was really wonderful to participate in that pooja, since we were the only ones in the temple, the priest requested to come inside and sit near the lord.

Had a wonderful darshan, aarathi etc.

Temple on top of a small hillock, roughly about 50 odd steps to go to the top. Gentle climb. You have a good view of the surrounding place from the top of the hill.

East facing temple, with no rajagopuram or kodimaram. Ambal faces south.
    Lord Name : Thirumanicherai
    Ambal Name: Thirumaninayagi

As we prepared to leave, the priest gave us prasadam, the sunai water, etc and blessed us.

Definitely a good temple to visit.
