The journey of Palimar began by its founder Mr. P.R.Seetharama Rao in 1944 in the name of Sri Krishna Lunch Home that caters to office goers in the narrow streets of Parrys Corner even today. Following this in 1970 and right adjacent to its parent restaurant, opened up Palimar. The mantra was to cater quality food at a fair price.

Palimar, now neatly tucked between Don Bosco and the Egmore Railway station at Egmore (World University Center) includes a fine dining service and a garden experience unlike no other. Its chain at food courts like Olympia Tech Park and Spectrum Mall (Perambur) provides quick service for the 9-5s and busy IT professionals. This all vegetarian restaurant also houses a satellite kitchen to cater to the Corporate Events, Birthdays, Anniversaries, and any social and family get-togethers.

Palimar's venture into corporate catering to serve quality food has gained loyal clients’ like Ajuba Solutions, Lanson Toyota, Saipem India, DOW and Textile Dychem.

The Company is now spearheaded by a team comprising, Mr. S. Venkat Rao, Managing Director and Mrs. Anupama Rao, Director.
