Mercy Nursery School bloomed on June 1995 with one teacher and eleven students in a thatched shed with a van in Kadaiyur-Pothiyapalayam Panchayat. It’s 6kms away from Kangayam. On 8th August 1998 the Society was registered and formal opening permission was granted. The School got recognition upto Standard VIII in the year 2000 .Mercy Matric School become a full fledged Matriculation School in 2002 and our first batch of students appeared for Matric examination in March 2002.With the blessings of Almighty, 100% results was secured. Our school is in a remote area and most of our parents are illiterate. So we take keen interest in guiding the students especially the slow learners.


Year after year we have been producing exemplary results in board examinations. At present our student strength is nearly 1000 with 48 staff members. The School has been upgraded as Higher Secondary School in the year 2010.Kindergarten Section has been provided with Audio Visual system. Smart classrooms by EduComp has been furnished for versatility of the students and Audio-visual for (Home Theatre) for Seminars. Education is an all round development of a student. We provide unique opportunity to all our students to unearth their talents and make the best out of their potentials through extra-curricular activities like Music, Dance, Table-Tennis, Chess and Karate etc.

As Yoga promotes self-confidence and concentration, students take yoga classes every week.We have been conducting Inter School Sports, Arts and Science Competition to bring out the inherent talents of our students.ILM and ENGLAB play a key role in moulding our students in Communicative English.
