I was there for PGDME admission. Staff is very supportive. I have applied for it. For admission purposes,you have to go in computer room on 5th floor.

The campus at the current state is sub par in facilities such as workshop, labs & housing. The campus is also being redeveloped for a sports ground and other facilities. The teachers are also highly experienced in their field with decades of seafaring. A ship-in-campus is also in talks.

MERI is now part of Indian Maritime University, Mumbai Port Campus.

It's a government college so, nobody cares if you study or not. Overall architecture is good. Some of the labs are well equipped while some aren't even present. So, it's okay.

It is the best Marine Engineering College of India based on its history.Every batch of IIT even may not be the ideal one to serve the engineering industry.So,batch also matters.
