Pricing wise not much difference. Dont expect any govt subsidies or so. But u will get everything at one place and save time and transportation costs. They even have vehicles to hire for delivery.
My pics will help you to know the prices as in Oct 2024
Happy gardening.
Ah, Lalbagh Nursery – the absolute crown jewel for every plant enthusiast. Or so you'd think. It’s touted as the must-visit haven for green thumbs, nestled in the ever-so-famous Lalbagh Botanical Garden in Bengaluru. You’d expect this place to shower you with exotic plants, indigenous beauties, and saplings that practically bloom on command, wouldn’t you? Oh, they’ve got it all! Ornamental plants, flowering shrubs, medicinal herbs. Et al! You name it! And the prices? Well, let's just say you'll leave wondering if you bought a humble fern or accidentally paid for the entire forest it came from. Because sure, they say they offer “affordable” plants, but your wallet is bound to feel lighter, and not in the whimsical garden-fairy way.
But wait, there’s more! Lalbagh Nursery is also an “educational space” for the budding (pun intended) horticulturist. You can totally pick up some plant care tips and sustainable gardening techniques. And why not? After all, the plants themselves are lovingly cared for and groomed with the expertise of their horticultural team. Of course, by "expertise," we mean a certain flair for billing “creativity.” It’s almost impressive how the final price tag is more influenced by your attire than the actual plant species. You might even think the billing process is a quirky, interactive experience in itself! Where every visit is a surprise! Because why just buy a plant when you can also play an impromptu game of “Guess the Price”?
This place will be a heaven for plant lovers. There are a lot of collections of both indoor and outdoor plants at a very cheap cost which runned by Lalbagh society.
The price of a plant starts at just from 30₹. Jade plant are sold for 50₹, Hibiscus 🌺 plant for 100₹, list goes on. They do have all manures, pot, seeds, bonsai, large plants, small plants, succulent, flowering plants.
Do visit and happy gardening 😊
This is a large plant nursery that has been in this location for years. These days it is surrounded by subdivisions but it was there first. Quality plants of all different kinds are available.
I have been visiting them since past 20 years and they have become one of the most reliable garden plant and equipment sources for me. I would buy plants , seeds and bulbs from there and carry 450 kms to my native.
Seeds and bulbs available here are if high quality and reasonably priced.
They have a wide variety and great collection of hibiscus, roses , orchids , cactus and hanging plants. Staff here are very friendly and helpful. Billing is quick too.
The nursery is well-organized and offers a wide variety of plants. The staff is helpful, and the prices are reasonable. It can get crowded on weekends.
For Bangloreans inside the city, it's a great place for all your gardening and landscaping needs. The prices are affordable and products are well maintained. Staffs are very friendly and overall makes it a great experience.
Very good varieties of plants at very reasonable price.
Much better than private nurseries
But no one to help and identify the trees.

One stop place for buying different varieties of plants. But its expensive i didn't verify the prices outside but the prices for many plants seems very expensive.
Look for plants from behind also, similar plants can have different rates like one plan i got @60 which was 150 in the front.
Prices are fixed.
A must visit for all plant lovers. There is a mind boggling range of plants available from tiny succulents to herbs to ornamentals to exotics! Pricing is decent and the quality of plants is good. Approach one of the green saree wearing ladies, who will bring in a cart and fill it up with plants you like, they also give great suggestions and care tips. Do not forget to tip them well for their services!
There is a wide selection of soil, compositing, fertilizer and gardening material in the store at the entrance.
Very good variety and cheaper than your street side plant vendor but once you start visiting you'll be a frequent visitor.. seed quality is not great as it isn't home grown.. Same seeds are cheaper on Amazon.. the plants need intense care for at least 3 months after you get them cos I believe they use chemical fertilizers to get the plants to bear flowers and fruits at a young age.. once you buy the plants you need to take your time to change them to organic..
My go to place to get plants through the year. All the gardeners are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I've never had a bad experience or come back empty handed. It's paradise for plant lovers.
They have beautiful collections of hundreds of plants and flowers. Must visit the nursery. You will be tempted to buy some plants. Keep the air you breathe fresh and fragrant around you. They have pots and plants for very very reasonable prices. The staff is also very kind and helpful. You can appreciate the heavenly sight of those beautiful plants amidst the sunset.
It's very beautiful place and they many varieties of different type of plants. Visited during flowers festival time and saw the tremendous response from public. The only lacking here explanation about each and every type of plant. Better we can visit during normal days to buy the plants and get more details.
