Not so well maintained station… Platforms are not so clean & smooth, needs major improvement immediately like a good quality waiting room, more no of platform shed because many important long distance trains pass through here...
Railway track doubling & electrification work is going on...

Nice station.Have almost all the facilities for train journey available here.The best thing of this station is that Express trains are available here all days to go to Howrah or North-east India.Wifi is not available here.Hope that wifi will available soon by Indian Railway in this station.

EXCEPT THE CROWDY PROBLEM OF AUTO AND TOTO MESS OUTSIDE THE PLATFORM AND THE COMPETITION OF AUTOS FOR PASSENGERS IT IS A CLEAN, PEACEFUL,RAILWAY STATION FOR ALMOST EVERY EXPRESS OR LOCAL TRAINS ON THIS ROUTE. BUT THE DRAINAGE SYSTEM OF THE STATION IS WEAK,AS A RESULT THE WATER FLOWS TO THE OUTER PLATFORM AND IT BECOMES MUD .

A very well located station on howrah and malda route. Many trains on the route stops here.
The station is dirty though and the auto and toto stand outside is a mess. Authorities are neglecting public convenience

It's almost a C shape station. This station has 2 platforms. You can get various trains from here and also Teesta Torsha Express has a stoppage here.
