  Kempegowda Bus Station, more commonly known as Majestic Bus Station, is a large bus station in central Bangalore, India. It is located opposite the Bangalore City Railway Station. This bus station provides connectivity to almost all the areas of Bangalore. One side of the bus station is used for intra-city buses by the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) while the other side is used by out-station buses operated by various state road transport corporations. The station acquired the name Majestic Bus Station or "Majestic" from a popular cinema theatre of the same name located nearby. It was later named as Kempegowda Bus Station in honour of Kempe Gowda I, the founder of Bangalore. However, Majestic continues to be the most commonly used name for the station.[1] Buses terminating at the station usually display signs that show "Kempegowda Bus Station" or "KBS".

  Bus station is still under Renovation and until the works are completed there will be problems for customers and confusion. At present Buses to North karnataka and places like Hassan, Tumkur,, Saklespur, Shimoga are departing from here. Passengers Shelters. toilets, Eateries are all substandard and likely to pose health problems.. Passengers facilitation systems are poor and passengers are running helter and skelter tracking out the correct platforms. No good hotels are available anywhere in the vicinity and senior passengers and disabled ones find it difficult commuting to board the correct platforms/buses..But things are expected to improve once the renovation works are completed
