The two-day workshop will explore innovations in service delivery and leveraging technology for emerging economies. A novel theme in this year's workshop is “Smart Cities Solutions” given the government’s mandate to develop 100 smart cities across the country. This workshop will bridge the gap between understanding technology capabilities to driving successful technology implementations for urban transformation.

Specifically, the workshop will provide a forum for quality academic discussions as well as interactions with practitioners on issues of how technology-enabled solution(s) will help cities evolve into safe, secure, and efficient habitats, leveraging smart cities infrastructure to foster innovation and entrepreneurship and explore various models for public/private enterprise engagement.
