  We came here is September 2020, just after e-pass restrictions were lifted in Maharashtra.
  The positives first - it is a beautiful, green property and a heaven for nature lovers. Lots of walking trails (mostly uphill/downhill), secluded walking paths, hidden streams... A veritable delight to the tired city eyes.
  
  The hotel, however, is still trying to find the balance between being a 5-star property and being Corona safe. So the following didn't work for me -
  1. Very limited food options
  2. No buffet spreads
  3. No daily housekeeping, unless you specifically ask for it
  4. In room dining plates not getting cleared - ours were lying outside for the entire duration of the stay, despite telling housekeeping to clear it
  
  One expects a certain experience in a 5* and that has been severely compromised by the pandemic. I won't blame the hotel - they are trying their best, but the experience did not give me the bang for the buck I expect from a 5*.
  
  Maybe this is the beginning of a paradigm shift for the luxury tourism segment - but nevertheless would recommend the property for its absolute natural environment and a genuine attempt being made despite restrictions

  Beautiful place. Highly recommend it. Had visited in first week of September with my kids. We loved the stream walks. And the nature there.... it’s like a private forest to you. Everything is excessively priced for sure. But still the experience is unparalleled.. they drive you around in nanos... which is fun. “ Navnath” one of the drivers was very kind and proactive is guiding us.

  Excellent stay. The entire team was good but what stood out for us was Mr Ninad from the FnB team. Kudos to him for planning a special dinner. Very good food and hospitality!!

  Can’t think of a more perfectly clean and sanitised place than Hilton Shillim. The staff was very warm and welcoming. Food was delicious. Stay was very comfortable. We had two villas- pool villa and valley view villa. Both were fantastic in terms of services.

  Luxurious resort near Lonavala. Explore nature, away from the hassles of a city. Reaching there is a challenge and if you driving, it's an adventure in itself. It involves several kilometres of hilly roads and some stretches of broken roads and steep inclination. Once you are near the place, you are in another world. You have to park your vehicles at the valet parking and they will drop you to your room by their vehicles. Luxurious rooms, elegant bath tubs with option of outside bath, though the food was not up to the standard they set for themselves. Everyday morning walk gave a chance to see exotic plants, hear sound of flowing water and many types of birds. Worth exploring once.

  Very big resort spread over a mountain. Need 2 nights minimum if you want to explore the property in detail which is immensely spread out. The villa rooms are comfortable with big bathrooms ; however upkeep of the villas can definitely be improved ; room service ordered takes at-least 30-45 mins to be delivered to your room - so you need to be mentally prepared for the same ; a big area for improvement I must say; also anything you want in the room from housekeeping also takes some time to deliver - maybe this is a negative of a big property. We only had breakfast in the restaurant and the spread was sufficient . Service is courteous . There are Nano cars available to take you from one place to another and normally available at short notice. However the price tag attached is a bit steep compared to the experience that you get.

  Hillton : Nice Resort located in 320 Acers of land , green every where , clean air and good luxury.
  It has all cottage accommodation , Spa , few restaurant , bars , pool and adventure activity.
  but need a little more manicure & maintenance . The main restaurant Terrazzo and the valley bar are bit small in comparison to the hotel capacity, food need to be geared up. over all a great experience to stay in a property like this.

  Looking for a romantic getaway, this is the only place which offer you all your needs built on the shillimb hill and surrounded by Goddess nature and the breathing views you just cannot miss place. Spread across 320 acres the beauty of this property cannot be defined in words, awarded with the world's best spa hotel now you can imagine the vibe of this place
  Villas are just huge enough to fit a family and the open air bathroom is the best thing I've ever seen.
  If you want to forget the polluted, busy and unhealthy city life for few days, this the the place where you should visit!!

  Your hotel was quite disappointing and definitely not at par with the kind of expectations I've developed for a 5-star hotel.
  
  Muddy hot water .
  
  Below average breakfast - no tea , no hot milk in the menu. Serving juices but no glasses available.
  
  Spread over a vast area but extremely poor car pick up service. Guests have to wait for a minimum of an hour to reach their destination.
  
  You request for an extra bed at 10 pm
  And they apologitically reach your room by 12:30 am.
  
  Simply, a waste of time.
  It isn't a wellness centre as they mentally torture you more with their worst services.
  
  Would not recommend to anyone .

  Perfect place to visit for a peaceful and serene vacation. Villas are very well maintained and staffs are friendly and courteous.
  Must visit place for people who want to spend time just with their loved ones and away from the city life.

  A beautiful Property by Hilton. The roads to the resort are decent enough; and once you reach, you are transported to a beautiful world altogether. Good arrangements, interesting activities and an amazing spa experience is all one needs for the perfect weekend. Good!

  Excellent property. Highly Recommended for family and children. Guest services are high quality. Food is good and healthy. There is no over load of sugar and spices the way it is done in many other hotels. Choices of restaurants gives you enough options to try out if you are staying for a longer period. Choices of activities to keep you engaged – Pottery, treks, Walks, Painting ..
  
   
  
  Watch outs:
  
  1. Not friendly for elders or those who require wheelchair assistance. Moving between the villa and restaurants  other points takes time and you need to depend on the internal shuttle services (Nano Cars)
  
  2. If you are planning a large family gathering/company events etc. – remember the individual villas are spread in a large area. You can’t walk to another one because if the distance. Meeting others will ideally happen only in common area like restaurants, Shillim Institute etc
  
  3. If you are paying by another currency credit card check the foreign exchange rates. I was charged the lowest ever exchange by any India based vendor and no cleat explanation provided. Pay in Indian Rupee to avoid overpayment in foreign currency

  Very sad place,got bored. Food was highly ok and not up to the mark as per the charges. basically this place is for elderly people or depressed people.iys only 1 time visit as just to mark in your list of 5 star property.

  This amazing place is about an hour's drive after getting off the expressway at Lonavla. Remotely located in a 350 acre property, the spa villas have a private pool. To go to your villa from the reception, they drive you in a Tata Nano. Going from your villa to any other part on the property, you have to inform reception and they send across a car. Boasting complete privacy, and very sparse mobile network, this place is great to switch off and relax. Although the WiFi is very highly charged.

  I was gifted one night stay by my children for 36th wedding anniversary. It was a fantastic experience. Luxury villa with personal swimming pool. Number of activities. Excellent food. Fantastic breakfast spread. Extremely courteous staff. Very good restaurants. Superb ambience. Worth all the money. Special mention for the guy named Abhishek whom I met while driving from one place to other by nano car. He showed me and explained everything. Also the guy demonstrating star gazing was amazingly knowledgeable. I am sure it will be fantastic during monsoon. Will definitely visit again.

  Amazing place. U r nested in middle of Forrest with absolute privacy and luxury. Staff is too good and food is delicious. Forest and valley view is mind boggling.. a must !

  Not a worth of your valuable money.they says 5 star hotel but its not even 3 star.only large spread out area doesn't make hotel 5 star. Hotel staff is very arrogant. 5 star hotel staff always have manners,Hilton's don't. You will feel why I m spending lots of money here. Service is very slow. For every little task,you have to wait for 30 min minimum. Food is not good. Lonavala have far better options than this.
