  Lord Buddha spent 24 Varshawas or Rainy seasons at Savatthi or Shravasti and people coming from Jhansi to visit Jethvana then GONDA Junction is a transit way via railways Kushinagar Express coming from Mumbai to Gorakhpur has a halt at this junction.
  
  The station cleanliness is ok , quite of food stalls inside station , restroom , dormitory , washrooms available.
  
  For Shravasti especially SAHET-MAHET or JETHVANA need to go to Balrampur District , UPSRTC buses are available also shared private vehicle is also exists, from Balrampur one can go to Shravasti Bus , Shared big size auto rickshaw is available.

  One of the best station of NER Gonda junction is the hallmark of cleanest stations.Once it was only Broad gauge Station between four adjacent district viz Gonda, Balrampur,Bahraich and Shravasti.Easy approach to the plateforms and availability of trains for almost all parts of India makes it more useful to general public.
  Prompt visit of higher railway officials keep close watch at passenger amenities as well as cleanliness of the Junction.
  I think it's a real Junction from where train moves to all four directions i.e. North,South,East as well as West.

  It is a very nice station having all essential facilities. The food serve by vendors are comparatively hygienic and good than other stations. Station cleanliness is also good and security is also satisfactory.
