The ‘Friends Steel’ group is promoted by a team of experts and experienced veterans with proven track records.

The group started off with steel rolling in 1998-99 with a capacity of 700 MT per month. The single minded and consistent efforts of the promoters have yielded results and the group today has a in-house steel rolling capacity of over 1.5 Lakh MT per annum. We started with a team of 5 people in 1998 and today we have a team of 500 dedicated and highly motivated individuals who own the vision of “making world-class steel”.

The brand ‘Friends Steel’ is today highly respected for its quality and range of products. Our commitment to highest quality and best service to customers is paramount for us. We believe in building long-term relationship based on mutual trust and admiration with everyone be it our customers, employees, franchisees, vendors or suppliers. Our focused marketing strategies have enabled us to enjoy a price premium for “Friends Steel” brand products over other non-branded products available in the market.

‘Friends Steel’ is one of the fastest growing national steel brands having a market presence in over 8 states of India. We manufacture and market a wide range of steel products (over 300 products) and are aiming to enter into new verticals. We plan to have a pan-India loyalty for our brand and grow on a franchisee model.

Group Companies:
Apart from Steel, the promoters have significant presence in infrastructure and construction, renewable energy, media solutions and brand consultancy. The combined annual turnover of the group companies is over 2000 crores.

Construction and Infrastructure:- One of the group companies is a leading Engineering, procurement and construction player in North India engaged in building roads, bridges, buildings, electrical substations and transmission lines, water works, sewage treatment plants, power plants etc. in over 14 states of India.
Renewable Energy:- The promoters also own a 10 MW solar power plant operating since March 2012 in the state of Gujarat. They plan to foray into other renewable energy sources like wind, hydro and biomass and provide EPC services to other companies aiming to enter these fields.
Brand consultancy:- The group also has an in-house media solutions and brand consultancy firm ‘AMICO’. It provides complete brand consultancy solutions like designing marketing collateral, creating a marketing strategy, media buying and optimization of marketing spends, outdoor/ indoor advertisements, online marketing etc.
The promoter’s vision is to establish a diversified conglomerate having national presence by the year 2020 with interests ranging from core sectors like steel and construction to service sectors like consultancy and finance.
