  This place is located at Jalukbari and is accessible by bus, cars of other vehicles from all parts of the state. Aesthetically decorated this memorial is the final resting place of the cultural scion of Assam Dr. Bhupen Hazarika. It is a good place to visit as people get insights about the life and works of the icon who was a great singer and music composer and put Assam on the music map of India through his soulful renditions.

  I love this place. It is like a breath of fresh air in the busy and populated jalukbari. It has a pleasant music of the late singer played all day long. Perfect for relaxing in the grass and fountain. Doesn't need any entry fee. :)

  It's dedicated to Assamese great singer Dr.Bhupen Hazarika , it's cremation ground / park of late Dr.Bhupen Hazarika .He has awarded with many award for his dedication to Assamese culture and song .It's located just near to Jalukbari flyover and heavy traffic all the time .It's more good if the memorial is built to some other peaceful area . Architecture of the memorial park is good and well maintained , avoid visit at night due to mosquito bite ,else apply some Anti mosquito cream bfre visit at evening time .

  Awesome architecture, peaceful surroundings. Beautiful water fountains. But the place still needs to be maintained. The statue of Dr. Hazarika and the dome construction are dusty.

  This 'Samadhi Khetra' of pride of Assam and Assamese culture legent the greatest singer Bhupen Hazarika- awardee of Dada Sahab Phalke Award and 2nd highest civilian award 'Padma Vibhushan' is one of most attractive memorial of recent times. Love this beautiful place at the Gateway of Guwahati.

  The place was built to Honor one of the greatest son of Assam, Dr Bhupen Hazarika. Located adjacent to University road. Well maintained. Traffic is horrible.
