Chumthang Crafts is an attempt to introduce the colorful and intricate hand arts and crafts of North East India to Bangalore and other part of the globe. The seven sister states of the North East India - Assam, Arunachal, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura - have a long tradition of textile, wood, cane and other crafts of the finest quality. Our aim is to ensure the preservation and sustainability of these traditional arts, some of which are slowly being lost, by connecting the artisans with a discerning clientele.
