I attended an interview for a senior position yesterday. The following are my observations:
    1. They DO NOT understand the concept of time management. I was told that my interview will be held at 12. However, the concerned person was 'busy' and hence I was called in for the interview finally at 12.45. And that too, the concerned senior management person conducted my interview in a half hearted manner, all along working on the laptop. Also, she wasn't even apologetic that there was a delay on her side

    2. While I clearly informed the HR (both at the junior level and senior level) that I do not have practical experience in certain aspects as mentioned in the job description, they said that it was fine and asked me to attend the interview. However, the senior management person, had not even seen my resume before the interview. Because, if she done so, she may not have wanted to interview me. Anyway, her knowledge of certain laws itself is questionable. Not sure how she has been appointed at that level. (I will explain in my next point why I said so)

    3. When I mentioned about my understanding of a particular law, she seemed confused and was unable to give me an answer as to why it was done. The procedure on question is, why were the security personnel demanding submitting Aadhaar details to anybody who enters their premise. The law of the land is that Aadhaar is NOT Mandatory. When I questioned the 'senior management' person who interviewed me, she was fumbling for answers and said that they take those details so that they don't have to do criminal verification!!
    4. So, do they treat all their employees and prospective employees as criminals? And who told them that they could verify a person's credentials using their Aadhaar data? Is it not intrusion of privacy? As a senior management person, is she not aware of the laws? What compliance are they talking when they are not even up to date on what the law of the land is?

    5. While they are keen on protecting the client data which they receive from other countries, why are they so callous when it comes to protecting their own employees data? Who authorised them to collect such data and who gave them the permission to use this data for verifying a prospective employee's credentials? And how many of them actually get selected?

    6. What if the security personnel were to misuse the data? Because when a person goes for an interview it takes at least a couple of hours for him/her to come back - given the fact that they have no concept of time management, it may even get prolonged

    7. Last, but not the least, there is something called as basic etiquette. Offering someone a glass of water or checking with them whether they need anything. Nothing was forthcoming, either from the HR or from the 'Senior Management' person. What sort of culture are you guys promoting? The security behaves so rudely to the prospective employees. Also, when you interview candidates for senior management positions like 'Director/Deputy Director' please treat them with respect and understand that time is an important factor for everyone.

    8. Also, please teach your senior management folks how to respect candidates - be it whether during interaction with them during an interview or even responding to them or communicating to them post an interview. The least expectation is that there will be a reply to the messages or even a return call.

Before you recruit more people, please train the existing staff on how to conduct themselves while interviewing a candidate and also teach them time management.

Awesome place to work as an experienced. One can reach the given targets. If you put some effort, it is easy to get good annual appraisals and desired roles. Here the soft wares made my work easy.. I left this company due to some personal reasons and missed a lot. Thank you
