Very good service very good food !! Even tho it was a busy Easter Sunday. Hats of to Robin and his team xxxx
It is not very often I get to see a place of importance under the geological point of view. I am reliably told this is the place where the American and African tectonic plates meet .
This a tranquil place and the entry into the place is serene. There has been few Hollywood movies shot here. Do visit this place if you could as it does take you to a different world.
Beautiful place to eat great food and watch the sunset right from your dinner table. Awesome
Meals are great and the people are really friendly. I believe the menu has changed recently. Lots of choices on the new menu anyway. The carvery on Sundays is amazing.
Hi all,
Went in on Saturday afternoon and the place was packed. We were instantly greeted by a friendly and welcoming young lady (Can't remember name but was very tall and blonde) who pulled together some tables for us.
We were told that there was a slight delay on food due to it being busy and one of the grills being broken, but our waitress went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.
The food was delicious so we made sure we had room for dessert!! Which was lovely a HUGE slice of Homemade victoria sponge
The views are stunning and will definitely be back soon
Lovely cafe. Nice views. Good food. Friendly staff. Thankyou
It was horried and we really should have complained at the time.
The chips were more like oven chips warmed up again in a microwave.
The burger roll was burnt around the edge.
The worst was yet to come. My friend had cheese ploughman's.
It was a plate of salad with a spinkel of grated cheese and salad cream. Then the strangest part of all was my friend was asked if she would Ike tiger bread with it , which she did.
..but oddly it was toasted.
We have never seen grated cheese and toast as part of a ploughman's.
The Tolets were not very clean either .
We will not be going there again it was very disappointing.
Lovely cafe in a spectacular location. It has a decent enough menu which seems reasonably priced given the nature of the cafe. We only stopped for tea which was very good. Staff were friendly
Superb view but marquee being erected for wedding so not so good view butfrom cafe. Bannog rubbery as heated in microwave & tasted of nothing. Think wedding preparations had taken over understandably.
We had lunch at Niarbyl Cafe today. The food was ok. I suppose the best I could say about it is "quite nice". The service was pleasant but rather slow and inattentive. We had to ask to see the menu to choose desert. Then we had to go to staff to order. Again we had to go to them to pay. We were not asked if everything was ok or if we enjoyed it.
Staff very charming. Food poor quality and expensive. We arrived at 11.30am to be told that the full menu was not available and we could only have cake or sandwiches. Ordered sandwiches which were made with cheap sliced bread, with inferior fillings, bearing scant resemblance to the menu. If you want to enjoy the fabulous view..take a picnic!
Beautiful setting outstanding views nice cream tea friendly staff
Varied menu of good quality food. Great selection for kids with ice cream and drinks included.
Very nice place with really good fish & chips. Very nice view over the coast
We love visiting the Niarbyl Cafe (I think they may do the best Queenies and Bacon on the Island imho) Lovely location. The selection of drinks is always hit and miss and beers are often luke-warm (the ones that are supposed to be served cold!) Staff there are friendly and welcoming.
Nice drinks and a brilliant view.
Lovely Romantic place to visit. Great food, stunning views.
Excellent place to go.
Restaurant has a kids area, lots of seating and a small bar. Perfect. :-)
Great food and a dark sky site too.
Incredible Place to Visit. The Amazing Views, and Wonderful Atmosphere, takes your Breath away. Add to this one of the Finest places on the Island to enjoy a Meal, from Sandwiches and Baked Potatoes, to their Mouthwatering Steak and Ale Pie, or Queenies served in a Sumptuous Sauce, The Handmade Deserts a Joy! it is definitely a place we will return to again and again. The Staff are Lovely, nothing too much bother. Perfect!
Great with kids, food is very tasty. Great location for a walk afterwards and burn off all that cake
