Great place to watch the racing or catch a tram up the rest of the mountain

One of the best, and best known spectator areas of the TT Course. Can get very cold, so take warm clothes. Joey's memorial is here. A good place to spend the day, get there early for a good spot, set up a camp with your mates and don't forget a radio. Several locations to choose from on both sides of the course thanks to the bridge, easy access by road or tram.

Brilliant windswept spot from which to watch the TT riders pass by.
NB: it is possible (although not even slightly recommended) to beat the Mountain Train down from the summit to the Bungalow stop on foot; yet I certainly would not suggest it be attempted in anything even approaching inclement weather!response / report this review -

No longer has the bike museum here (it's in Santon now) but the statue of Joey Dunlop + the Snaefell Mountain Railway + the scenery along the A18 still make it worthwile taking a pause here & contemplating life, the universe & everything. Spiritual home of Road Racing!
