The most exciting Free experience of racing motor cycles you will ever see. The 37 mile long course is a challenge to the best and offers untold vantage points to watch the best road racers testing their skills. Make friends for life some of whom have been coming to the TT races for many years. Once seen, never forgotten and on a most beautiful island.
No matter who you are you can't fail to be impressed at the raw speed and bravery of the guys that compete in the racing. Amazing.
Five stars for the facilities at the Grandstand, related areas and paddock during race week. I've been going every year for quite a time, it gets very crowded but a good atmosphere, plenty of food and lots of ubiquitous merchandise.
If you haven't done a TT yet don't leave it too long because the tide seems to be turning again and it's got all a bit over the top with more restricted areas and commercial interests jumping on the Road Racing bandwagon now. Go while the going is still good.
Love the place and the people are so friendly and the TT is out of this world have never seen anything like it in all my life
Amazing! Must see this. Amazing racing and atmosphere. A must for all bike fans.
Everyone should experience this event. No-one will be disappointed!
Truly amazing
The island changes into a hive of activity with the TT. Lots to do, lots of stalls, lots of food, a fun fair and the races. 195mph! Very fast and exceptionally dangerous. Only reason for 4 stars is people do die.
Not what is used to be. Used to be about road racing skill on everyday roads. Nowadays the surface is more like a circuit track to encourage higher speed and endless track records. Seems to have attracted the middle aged, middle manager, mid-life crises brigade with all the gear but no idea.
Great atmosphere all the bikers are friendly and there's some amazing bikes to see. The race's are thrilling with a chance to chat to the rider's and team mechanics.
I am not a motorsport enthusiast except when it comes to the Isle of Man TT. Fantastic time every time. You even get to meet some of the motorbike champs if you eat at local restaurants.
Great fun, came for the Manx G.P. much less busy than T.T. No beer tent in Douglass but spectacular racing. If you like motorbikes the Isle of Mann is the place to be!
Twice a year the legendary track comes alive with bikers from around the globe. The most renowned road racing circuit in the world.
Without a doubt this is probley the most exiting motorcycle event in the world , other than paying for the grandstand seating at the start finish line ( optional ) the paddock area is free to walk through. Prior to racing you will see the stars of the event and yes most are approachable for a photo or a quick chat. The whole island is teaming with motorcyclists and there machines from all over the world.Sadly this year my visit was cut very short after only two days as I had too leave the island and fly to Italy where my mother had suffered a major brain hemorrhage and gone in to a coma while on holiday
Classic motor cycling venue. Stand on the historic start/finish line.
Simply the best place on earth during the first week of June!
Best road races in the world
Sadly I've never been here to see them, but I have visited in late June when everyone has gone, long sunny days and the freedom of 37 1/2 miles without everyone and their next-door neighbours
Road racing capital of the world.Google it. Too much history to do it justice in a 5 line review. If you are a biker / petrol head it's the place to be.
It's just too busy. Even the Manx Grand Prix, the so-called amateur race, is too busy nowadays, as people flock to watch it. Be aware of nutcases who think they're racers and will overtake you dangerously.
Be prepared to walk up and down the hill a lot.
