Good location for older people. Not much to do for kids outside of mid summer. Travel too and from the island can be very expensive. Best to hire a vehicle if you wish to see a lot as public transport can be quite few and far between in certain areas.

Beautiful island with fantastic coastal walks where you can see many sea birds and sea life. Also 9 great golf courses.

Gorgeous island, miles of unspoilt countryside. There are fantastic beaches with a good chance of seeing seals and dolphins too (or Basking Sharks in the summer). Easy to take a boat ride in Peel or Douglas, or take a trip to the Calf of Man from Port Erin or Port St Mary. There are many other activities, historic sights, coastal walks, beautiful scenery and great people.

This is such an amazing place to be, especially to live! Everyone here lives a very laidback lifestyle with no rushing anywhere. There is very little crime and a real emphasis on spending time outdoors and with family.

The Isle of Man is a lovely place to visit, a slower pace of life and rather like stepping back in time. There's plenty to see, lots of beaches of course and the TT races if that's your bag. Highly recommended.
