Just had the opportunity to stay at the Savoy and eat here, food is excellent, hosts are superb ! And a fantastic place to go.
Had a lovely meal when over on St Patrick's weekend and would go back. Not disappointed.
Very helpful staff and great food.
Great food, outstanding service. Friendly staff. Awesome sea /promenade views. Warm, family atmosphere.
Great place to eat out, all sizes of groups catered for
Excellent food, reasonably priced and friendly helpful staff who seemed to work well as a team. Everything was clean and tidy, we were that impressed went back the following night, and will definitely be going back again.
I've been coming here at least once a year since 2010 and it's only improved over the years. It is attached to the Savoy bed and breakfast on the central prom in Douglas and this is usually where we stay when we come to this magnificent island. Haneffe and Mary are great hosts and they have spent an unthinkable amount of money doing this place up over the years. The food is some of the best I've ever eaten, all local produce and absolutely top notch. It is expensive compared to what I'd pay in Manchester but good value compared to elsewhere on the Isle of Man and a lot of the profit gets put towards making the place nicer. You can park for free on the road outside. If you're looking for a nice meal with friendly service and great ambience then look no further.
Very good staff & tasty food
Very mediocre food which took an hour to be served. The restaurant looked grubby and the side salad on my starter looked a number of days old including bits of brown lettuce. Didn't even touch it. Of my three drinks, each glass was not clean; water marks on two of them and smudges on the third. I think they need to up their game. Will not recommend The Savoy in a hurry.
Amazing place for some English food, the full grill is incredibly filling! A must try, cheaper than most pubs and a lot nicer to ear at! Or drink
