Dhoon Glen is a prominent land feature some five minutes drive north of Laxey in the Isle of Man. One entrance to the Glen is reached from Dhoon Glen tram stop and it is possible to catch a bus here too. There is ample room to park. When the tram is operating the café at the tram stop is often open.

There are easy and harder walks down to the beach, one of which takes you down by the waterfall. The beach at the bottom is great for sunbathing.

A secluded glen with beautiful waterfalls and a cove beach at the end, footpaths variable in quality and some parts steep

Great for photographing. The views are gorgeous. But be careful when you go there. It's easy to go down but it's a challenge to go up. Wear suitable trainers and don't forget to bring water.

Bring your walking shoes, it's steep! Very enjoyable though.

This was a walk I've always wanted to do after watching Julia Bradbury do her walk down to the Glen. Very steep but well worth it, so suitable footwear is required for this walk

With parking across the road, a rail line nearby and an adorable shop this is a good spot for tourists to visit on a sunny clear day. You'll need some comfortable shoes as the ground is uneven but the surroundings are magnificent. Keep walking right to the end of the walk and you'll find a closed off waterfront which is peaceful and perfect for some contemplation (maybe even a proposal). I've added a photo to show what it looks like, but go check it out yourself, it's beautiful.
