Biblical zoo in Jerusalem is a great place for the whole family.
Wide variety of animals.
You can easily spend 3 or 4 hours here.
Bring something to drink and eat (inside it's expensive)
Tickets are moderately priced.
There's a train station right by the zoo and the Malka shopping center is about 2km from there.

My kids enjoyed the zoo, it's small compared to zoos I'm used to see in the USA but for Israel it's considered big.

I really like the Jerusalem biblical zoo. It is a lovely place to chill out or to take the children for a lovely afternoon. Very recomended.

The train station is well kept and runs smoothly. There is a large overflow of people existing the train, which takes a while to leave.
