very nice resort. everything works fine. but need to be sure its open and all the desirable attractions are working. there are 3-4 weeks a year it is.
In a world wide view the hermon mount. Is not in an impressive place. But it is nice to come here as the only snowy place in Israel. Prices are fair for the short period in the year it's open.
The only place in Israel to get some white stuff.
The facilities though, are poor, not clean, and very pricey.
The families area is very small and crowded and lacks of activities.
On average, works 2-3 days a year for skiing. The slopes are ok and u have to be lucky to catch a clear weather. The coffee shop could be much better and the ski pass is in average European prices.
We visited thus place in summer, and it adapted pretty well. Although there is a limited number of attractions there you'll easily spend half a day. The guided tour on the top station is highly recommended, the guide is informed and entertaining. Plus he takes the group to several "closed" places.
Nice place to play ski. Hightest place in israel. Good place to bring your kid
We were there in the summer, still beautiful even though there is no snow, other attractions are available on site
Just an awesome experience: In Winter this is a great spot to do wintersports and in summer it is great for hiking. We will return next year
A very impressive place to visit not only in winter, but also in summer. Beautiful views from the top of the mountain.
It's the only skiing in Israel, so you take what you can get. The runs are average, definitely not a challenge for advanced or even intermediate skiers. If the conditions are bad (high wind and ice), they tend to shut 80% of the runs down So plan your trip according to the weather. They have rentals if you don't have your own stuff and a small ski shop. The view from the top is breathtaking!
It's about a 4 hour drive from the Tel Aviv area so you can do a day trip if you like waking up early.
There are good skiing conditions only a few days after a storm.
Basically 4 pistes and 2 off-pistes.
Important note, at the entrance there are paying stalls, they accept cash only
The Hermon Ski resort is the only place you can ski or snowboard in Israel. For beginners, it's a decent site, but the easy tracks are usually very crowded.
The site is mainly intermediate level. There are only a few black marked tracks and even they are not very challenging compared to those in Europe or in other places.
I had a lot of fun! The cafeteria only serves junk food but there is a lot of space to sit down and eat your own food. The small rollercoaster was fun but the best part is to go down on the hill!
The last two visits to the mountain were awful by all means. Service and staff personnel are the worst I ever encountered, zero patients loud and rude, starting from the parking were they did not let us park in the upper parking even though there was plenty of parking, and ending with assault by one of the workers. If I could give it a zero star it would definitely deserve it.
Make sure you don't come when a storm might catch you app on the mountain. down the cable cart while a snow and wind is blowing in your kids face is freezing and not pleasant. most of the time there is more ice than snow so make sure to come right after a good night of snow falling to earn some snow powder
