Went to the place but the waiter said he will check if theres any available because we don't have reservation, so we waited for more than 10 mins and we have to asked him if there's any available, then he said its only available for 1 hour. He could've said that after 1 minute of checking.
Beautiful place with heartwarming people that didn't stop smiling to us. The food was amazing and very special and they have quite a variety of unique dishes you simply have to try them all (especially the magluba and the Jerusalem siniya). Everything is offered in fair prices - you get your money's worth. I strongly recommend to come to this restaurant from all over the world!
If I had to recommend only one meal in Israel, it will be at Eucalyptus!
Not only the food is fresh, delicious and plentiful (Dayenu!) but diners are regaled with Chef Moshe’s demonstration of herbs, spices and vegetables that grow wild around Jerusalem. These food items were already consumed at Biblical times.
Eucalyptus provides a gourmet journey back to Biblical times!
Wandered into Eucalyptus tonight and so glad we did. The food was beautiful and the chef treated us like we were guests in his home. Treat yourself to high end Israeli cuisine in a beautiful setting.
We came after a very long day of touring Jerusalem and were greeted by attentive and knowledgeable wait staff. The menu is diverse and everything we ate was perfect. Next time, I want to do the tasting menu but my friends were not in the mood to share. The restaurant is a hidden gem in a wonderful quiet location.
Nice restaurant next to the famous attractions.
Quality of food is questionable, my chicken dish had mashed potatoes with sweet potatoes?! Slightly too ordinary.
Sitting outside is lovely.
My family and I were on a 10 day vacation in Israel when we visited Eucalyptus for dinner one night. As a vegetarian, its hard to find great food that fits my needs. This place exceeded my expectations. My family ordered the tasting menu and they brought tasting options out for my husband and I that were vegetarian friendly. Every dish tasted great and looked beautiful. Would strongly recommend this to anyone looking for good and unique food!
The food speaks for itself, but the people running this place are truly amazing. Take a few minutes to talk with them and you will be rewarded!
it is my privilege and obligation to share our experience from our Bat Mitzvah party that was held it THE EUCALYPTUS this week of August 2017.
we reside in the US and decided to have a bat mitzvah party for our daughter in Jerusalem. after looking into a few other options we have come across Eucalyptus through a referral and an online search, from the first phone conversation with Michal I knew this is the place we will go with. great knowledge & understanding of the type of events we were trying to have and great flexibility with closing the details.
We decided to go with an out door event to enjoy the magical Jerusalem evening breeze (yes, in August) and Michal made sure there will be no loud event in HUZOT ha YOZER or the SULTANS POOL (חוצות היוצר או בריכת הסולטן) that evening..
The event was beyond a success, the atmosphere was magical & unique & the food was more then anyone expected.. special, delicious & beautifully set.
the staff was unbelievable, from the marketing director Michal, through Itamar the event manager (who is an amazing worm & professional guy) and until the last of the staff members and all made this a night to remember.
I highly recommend the Eucalyptus, weather you are planning just to have a good gourmet meal or to plan your party for any occasion.
I am very pleased with choosing the outdoors back terrace especially in the evening with the great views of the wall of the ancient city & artist colony with the beautiful fire & water show in the park below..
Thank you for an unforgettable night
I promise you that is the most incredible place to go for dinner. The atmosphere is breathtaking . It is located in the artist colony in Jerusalem. Imagine at night time walking down a white stone path filled with little lights helping guide you to this magical place. The entrees are kosher and made with the creativity and love of the famous Chef Moshe. He has the most down to earth and welcomes his guest from all over the world. You can order off the menu or have the highly recommended tasting menu. My favorite items are everything from freshly baked bread to parve warm chocolate cup. It melts in your mouth. An incredible place that welcomes everyone. Little children , people requiring mobility assistance, or large families. I would make a reservation. Everyone walks out with a smile on their face. It is more than a meal. It is a dining journey of excellence. Must stop destination for foodies!!! Prices are very reasonable for highest quality ingredients. Some are from Moshe's garden!
The Eucalyptus is a gem in Jerusalem. It is a place filled with hospitality and the menu is lists meals representing both modern cuisine and the owner's own family recipes from the Levant. Among the many good restaurants in Israel a few has real character. Eucalyptus is one of them.
Fantastic service, excellent food. Family proud of their heritage and traditional cuisine. Enjoyed a typical Passover meal.😄👍
For a classy and expensive restaurant, this doesnt get more than a three stars. The place is not well kept, the bathrooms are dirty and the pipes are revealed. The food is ok, some plates even excellent ( we had the chefs mix). the service was average. Overall average experience with a heafty price tag.
Absolutely one of the best meals I've had. Great service, great chef. Highly recommend the tasting menu.
If there's a place I enjoyed in Jerusalem its this one.
A true culinary jewel of the city, the whole is intentive and generous, the food has a biblical inspiration to it and is truly delicious.
The chef is such a nice guy and in general the place is highly recommended!!
Absolutely amazing restaurant - both the food and the service! We enjoyed every dish of the tasting menu, with each one being very unique, flavorful, and incredibly delicious. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back on our next visit to Israel.
