  Down a side street -- entrance isn't obvious from King George. Space is beautiful and home-made ice tea was very good (pretty Brooklyn style). Service was friendly. But food was somewhat mediocre – fried gnocchi was a bad idea, and the Israeli breakfast was small and underwhelming. Maybe best to come for the place and the drinks but don't get food.

  'Sonya' is my home-cafe. I go there for years, and it never gets old. The cafe has a back yard that gives it silence that is rare for the location which is the middle of Tel-Aviv. The owner is great and very welcoming.
  On Friday noon you can have an amazing brunch with delicious cocktails- you should order the french breakfast: open croissant with Ham, Gouda and 2 fried eggs.
  In the evening each table has a candle and you can warm up with wine and great tea, and have the "Mexican Shakshuka"- Israeli dish with a twist- tomatoes sauce, eggs, meat and hot peppers.

  Great backyard, chill and relaxing.
  Shakshuka and tomato/cucumber salad is tasty and huge in size. Ask for the wholewheat bread. Good coffee, not to bitter nor weak.
  Friendly service.
  Overall, great for breakfast or lunch. 👌🏼
