Excellent service and delicious food with very generous portions and a staff that is eager to please and wants to make you happy.

We started with a vegetable soup, which was some of the best I've ever tasted, and a wonderful green lentil soup. These were BIG soups!

For sides we had a standard Israeli salad and simple but tasty steamed vegetables done to perfection.

The marinated lemon olive chicken was perfect. So savory, seasoned just right.

My dining partner had the filet mignon, which was also excellent.

Nice casual atmosphere, very welcoming, plenty of seating and comfortable space for all diners even when busy.

Will be coming back and bringing family and friends!

Disappointing Kubbe. Hummos not home-made. Expensive for what you get. Average service or less.

Simah is an institution, close to the Machane Yehudah market, which has been serving excellent traditional Jerusalem food for ever. It's little more than a working men's cafe (crowded, formica tables, noise) which is of no matter once the food arrives.

And that's why you go to Simah. They more or less invented the Jerusalem mix - and everything on the menu is good old fashioned quality food that makes you feel full, satisfied and happy.

Don't expect stunning service, do expect excellent food. And at a reasonable price.

Enjoyed getting the Jerusalem Mix here. It's a little expensive but an authentic experience that should not be missed. While here, check out the market only a couple of blocks away

Not the cheapest, but with a wide variety of good food and good service. Worth a visit.

Amazing, but expensive kosher meat resturant. The waiter service is fast and the food is great. I got the dush pere soup which was delicious and chicken steak as a main, also great. Would definitely come again!
