A beautiful place with character after my own heart. Perfect location.
You are cordially taken to a dormitory with bunk beds, surrounded by kind strangers; hardly for evey age or every man. But the scenery, street noise, cannabis smell rising from the sewers can all hand the unsuspecting traveller a jolt to write home about
One of the most beautiful pearls in the whole country. The inside is homy and filled completely with comforting decorations and friendly people. This is not a fancy resort, it's a place made so you would feel at home, and it does that marvelously.
If you are looking for a warm, inviting, relic of a better reality, and on the other side not too flashy or overbearing. A place with a smart, savvy staff that can recommend the best places to visit - then this is the place.
Full disclosure - I am a friend of one of the staff, but if I were traveling to Tel-Aviv, this is where I would stay, hands down.
Usually I don't like kitsch, but I love this place! Great atmosphere, friendly helpful staff and in an amazing area of Tel Aviv.
I really like this place. The location is great in terms of being in a historic building, in a historical neighborhood, and having nice quiet options for sitting on the large rooftop terrace or inside--nice commute to central Tel-Aviv from here either on foot (3k?), or the city bikes. Breakfasts are simple but have just enough variety to start the day on a heathy note. It is reasonably clean, but not spotless, although they clearly make an effort. This place has been in business a long time so there is a lot of history to it--I'd definitely stay again.
Had very good experiences as a guest but also as a volunteer. Beautiful place! In the dorm or on the rooftop it can be a bit noisy at night because of the nightlife in the flea market area.
This Hostel is very excellent! The location is amazing, embedded in the old city with its flea market and only few minutes away from the beach. In the suroundings there are many restaurants and bars.
The hostel itself ist clean, you will share a bathroom with others even if you have a private room.
What a rooftop? Incredible!
Nice people and cosy rooms.
Wifi is unfortunately not available in every room.
The most authentic place in Tel Aviv I've visited. Highly recommended for atmosphere and the rooftop garden. Lack of the air-conditioning inside room might be painful thought. But well, you can experience Israeli night :D
We had the private room with bath room and it was tiny and smelly, it felt like living on a train. It was nothing like what they showed in the picture. To make it worse, the quilt smelled gross. The room was also not sound-proofing at all, when the neighbors came back it sounded like they were trying to break in in our room. Also you could hear everything on the street. The electricity was going off all the time, and the internet was not working during our entire stay. So glad my stay was over.
The most beautiful hostel. Staff's friendly, breakfast is delicious and the rooftop is amazing!
Great place. Awesome enviroment. Everything is clean and tidy. There are very nice people working and serving in there. Very generous and delicious breakfast !
Clean, nice. Terrible WiFi, tiny toilets (it's hard to close a door while inside, for example). Street can be loud at night, so choose another place if you want a good night sleep).
Spent 2 nights in a private bedroom. GREAT location! Very nice staff. Simple Breakfast on the roof in the morning is lovely with the sunshine. If you are on a budget and you want to stay in Jaffa - stay here :)
Good location, roof terrace
we spent a night in this nice hostel in a double room with bathroom. nice atmosphere and the breakfast in the roof was super.
Super cool and interesting place!
With cute funny rooms and a super roof with an amazing view of Jaffa and the sea.
Love this place!!!
What a great hostel. Nice and clean. With a great place on the roof for sitting. Staff was very polite and kind. I would really go back there.
Such a nice place to stay! The hostel is located just perfectly to dive into this fascinating country. Friendly atmosphere, colonial style, everything is clean and the breakfast is very good. At the end of the day the top roof terrace was an incredible comfort nest to chill out
