Second time exploring Nazareth Village. We learn something new every time and just love to go and support what they are doing in Nazareth.

This is a wonderful tour to get a flavor for what life was like in the time of Jesus. Craftsmen give demonstrations and the guide was excellent. Th grounds are lovely. One person in our group is not very steady on her feet and the steep walks and narrow steps were tough fo her. I set up tickets beforehand since the times sell out quickly. We got ours the day before but there are lots of tour groups that visit the place.

A very educational and good tour. it explained some things about life in the 1st century that i had no clue about. it delt with realities like the lack of trees, rapacious Romans, religious practice, in a clear and concise manner. it covered raising sheep, harvesting the wool, it covered raising grapes and making wine, it covered raising olives and making oil. it was a very good well thought our 100 minute lesson.

We loved this little open air museum about how life was at Jesus times. There are different places with real people dressed up like 2000 years ago, sheep and donkeys. In February the nature was beautiful green with lots of yellow flowers under the olive trees, which makes the walk very pleasant.
The museum closes at 17:00, there are only guided tours, and the last one starts at 15:30, but you should book in advance if you want to be sure to be able to enter.
There is a free parking available at the site.

Our guide was wonderful. And everything was beautiful. It gave us a great look at what life during Jesus time was like, and made me understand the depth of pain He had to go through on the cross.

The actors were wonderful and willing to take pictures, and we even got to have a souvenir. So awesome. Would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Interesting recreation. Worth the short time it takes to go through the village. Wine press exhibit was quite informative

I am an adult and I learned so much here. It's authentic, they don't rip you off, and they even give you an extra souvenir. The best site in Israel after the Garden Tomb.

What a gem! Go on a guided tour, they explain every aspect of the life of Christ to you. People even get dressed up and reenact the things that were normal back then - weaving, carpentry, herding, making food. So cool. Our guide sang to us in the makeshift synagogue. His voice was amazing. He was entertaining and so nice. They feed you afterwards and the food is authentic and original. Fresh and takes you way back in the day. Even their cutlery was authentic. Some dishes you had to drink out of a bowl. It is what Christ would have chomped on. Highly recommended to go here.

This is an authentic place created to assimilate the village of Nazareth how it was 2000 years ago, during Jesus' times. It is very well done and you can get a feeling of how the houses looked like. People who work there are wearing the kind of clothes people wore 2000 years ago and you get to experience the kinds of jobs they had carpenter, etc. I highly recommend you go check it out yourself!

A living and working museum that's worth driving for. I've been there three times, and the different guides each time have new details and stories. Remember to book a guided tour to get all details from the buildings etc. Also recommended for children as there are workshops, living animals etc.
