As an American, I enjoyed the familiarity but if this were a place in America, I don't think I would go back. It's a dive bar with familiar American food.

Great atmosphere at Mike's Place. The food was very rich and beers variety was great. The service was fare but not as expected.

I've been to Mike's place in Jerusalem and had a great experience. The staff was friendly, food was great, and even the prices were a bit cheaper. I expected the same in Herzliya but the service couldn't have been worse! The host/waitress had her back towards us and wouldn't seat us for about 5 minutes even though the place was empty. Once she sat us she gave us the menus and at that very moment asked us if we already knew what we wanted, we didn't even get the chance to open our menus up. She then kept on forgetting what we order and had to come back three times . Once our food arrived my steak was medium rare instead of medium well and the steak was very bland. If I could give this place less than 1 star I would, my expectations were not met. Go to the one in Jerusalem you won't be disappointed.

In general it's a decent bar with s good atmosphere. It feels like it some towards the younger student like audience but really it's quite an old bar more in sync with the high tech done in which it resides.
Perhaps the best thing about it is the live music shows, every other night or so, and also and at times at Friday afternoon there are live bands.
The food, isn't very good, though not bad, mostly the Israeli rendition of American style ‏cuisine with a strong Mexican influence.
My advice, up honestly, If you want go somewhere else. But if you happen to be in the neighborhood during launch time you might want to know that they do offer a business launch, which is pretty decent.
Oh and the last thing is that the staff are usually really nice and they do offer a satisfying beer selection

Very friendly and good willing staff, but the place could really use a "facelift". The sports monitors are not very comfortable to look at, the main screen has wrong dimensions, and in general, the place is a bit shabby

Good pub, with live music & DJ on Fridays. Large variety of draft beers, other liqour & food. Food quality is good compared to other pubs, very nice even for lunch. Waiters (and rest of staff) are very friendly and helpful.

Food is so-so (and takes ages to be served), and the cocktails are not strong enough. However, it's a nice and comfortable setting, and there is live-music nearly every day.

I came here to watch NFL. I called earlier to make sure they have redzone and they claimed they did. Upon arrival they didn't, which was disappointing. Service was good, and there was a deal on beer.
