I love this hotel. Great staffs, beautiful view of the sea of Galilee, clean room, very comfy bed, strong shower. Dinner; Love it! Abundant vegetarian dishes with fresh vegetable. Lots of meat, chicken, fish dishes. Lots of fruit and cake for deserts. Protect your health. Convenient hand washing sink stations all along side at entrance of dinning room. Have been to a few places in Israel. This is my favorite.

Stayed here with a big group. 10 people in the group reported that money was missing. Cleaning staff went through our suitcases and took our money. Staff refused to apologize despite overwhelming evidence against them. If you appreciate your stuff and privacy, do not stay here.

This is a budget hotel that offers cheap accommodations. The hotel is rated as 3 stars, and the reason why I'm rating it 4 stars is since the price is so good that it deserves 4 stars. It's an overall decent hotel, the place is need of some renovations, and I can see that they are doing just that, a few parts of the hotel is being renovated while I'm here. Overall I recommended it for a place to crash for a night.

This hotel is adequate, but no more. It is in need of a major make-over when it comes to the premises, but also staff conduct. Never did I get any feeling of being welcome, rather being in the way of the staff.

    IMPROVEMENTS
    - Cleaning
    - Security
    - Breakfast quality and variation
    - General conditions (i.e. painting etc needed)
    - Staff conduct/behavior

    PREMISES
On arrival I found a parking spot just outside the hotel, no fee. The entrance is occasionally watched by security and/or reception staff. My late arrival was no problem since I called the hotel earlier the same day. The lobby area consists of reception, some information about Tiberias, an Ice machine, a shop and some seating areas. Form here you can also make it into the hotel bar or the Breakfast restaurant. My room was quite far from the lobby and required a long walk and two (!) different elevators. Most of the hotel is carpet covered and collects dust.

    ROOM
My room was larger than I expected and had all the necessities, including coffee/tea, working space, TV, refrigerator etc. But the room is in great need of renovation. As you may see in the pictures one of the bed lamps was in the worst condition ever. Shouldn't even be there! Another concern is security, since the door could easily be opened with a bottle opener. My pictures also shows the dirty Hotel information, in which probably some kids had fun.

    CLEANING
Upon arrival the room was very clean, but the following days was another issue. As you may see in the pictures there were stains left on the bathroom floor, toilet paper was a mess, the bed was really bad made and so on. Either there were no signs of any vacuum cleaning!

    BREAKFAST & MEALS
I only had breakfast at the hotel and did not even visit the bar. The view from the restaurant is spectacular, but that's basically what's good about the breakfast. Every morning I had the suspicious look from the breakfast staff and I was interrogated about my room number (by the same person). Not a very nice way to start the day. Even if the restaurant was basically empty I was not allowed to sit by my own at a window table for four (why?). The breakfast did offer a good variety of hot and cold food as well as tea, coffee, juices. Other guests made the breakfast totally impossible to enjoy, due to total lack of respect for other customers. Maybe that explains the staff behavior

Was here for one night for birthright. It was sufficient. Bathroom light would often take several moments to flicker on if it all. Not the cleanest up places but definitely not dirty. The dinner and breakfast buffets that we had there were easily the best part, almost good enough for me to go from 3 stars to 4 But not quite.

Old hotel, but I like the name of it: "King Solomon". I don't care about previous reviews, yes, it is not a new hotel, old windows, AC is not so good :), but I was excited that I am in Tverya. One of the most historical places in Bible. Look at the beautiful lake close your eyes and pray

Rooms were clean and the view made it all worth it. Simple and great for the perfect traveler who only spends 10% at most in the hotel. Food was good and staff friendly.

Clean rooms, excellent views with balconies outside the rooms. Don't expect the hotel Wi-Fi to work though.

Disclaimer: I didn't personally pay for the room. All costs were covered by a third party.
