Cute forest, nice place for a picnic and a stroll. Perfect with little ones - don’t miss the maze!
Very nice. Well kept. Beautiful trees. Good signs with the names of the trees. Unfortunately, the visitor's center is only open on weekday mornings, not Friday or Saturday. No entrance fee. Parking, picnic tables and bathrooms.
Nice botanical tree garden. Good for strollers. Fun for an easy hike with kids. Lots of parking. Has a restroom.
Great park, visitors center and botanic garden. Plan on 3 hours. Plenty of picnic tables. Nice restrooms. Packed on Fridays and Saturdays.
Great place.
New! 400 species of trees. Well preared multimedia currently only in Hebrew
Lovely paths between many different types of trees making for a beautiful and interesting stroll. The pathways are mostly paved so this place is appropriate for prams and people that need stake ground.
Lots of trees planted in that forest when each tree has it own barcode to scan and read. Amazing trails for kids bicycling.. With benches everywhere you will definitely find a great place to spend time with your family or alone.
My first 'discovery' in Israel. Hundreds of labeled tree species along wife walking paths, most of them foreign to a Pacific Northwestener like myself, with lots of species from Australia, Africa, South America, and Europe. My three year old loved going from tree to tree and seeing the different needles, seeds, etc. The bathrooms were very clean, and there were plenty of picnic tables and benches.
We only visited the forest on the east side of the highway. It appears there used to be a trail under the highway connecting it to the forest on the west side of the highway, but it is closed now, so we didn't visit that side.
Highway noise is significant, but not a deal breaker for us. I'll probably schedule future visits when there is less traffic.
Oh, and there is a brochure available in English next to the map sign in the parking lot.
We live close and will be back soon.
Pastoral. Pleasant to walk around
Friendly to children and parents with a strollers
Lots of different kinds of trees. Convenient for strollers and wheelchairs. Spent an hour and a half.

Such a great trip with kids
Great place to spend several hours at, wide collection to trees and plants.
Wheelchair and stroller accessible throughout.
Picnic tables in the shade allow for a nice breakfast or snack time.
All the plants have a plaque in front of them with a QR code that can be scanned using a dedicated app that allows you to learn more about what you see.
