I live in Israel and had a long weekend with my extended family at this place. The overall number of rooms I have been to is 5. 1 regular and 4 different suites.
This is the kind of places that make one appreciate the saying "There's no place like home", and I've been serving in the IDF for 3 years. It is just totally neglected facility.
The hygiene level moves between poor to non-existent. The rooms are very dirty. The bathroom is filled with mold. The floor is dirty and the rugs are old and dusty. The phone was dirty and sticky.
Almost all remotes were without their battery caps. You dropped the tv remote? Go look for the batteries under a dirty sofa.
The pool bottom is filled with painful-to-step-on debris.
The place doesn't keep it's own code of conduct as many guests ,and even some of the staff, were smoking on premise.
Speaking of the staff, almost no one seemed to be trained for their job. Most of the staff wore a frown and had no service orientation whatsoever.
The smell of sewage is no stranger to this place, and you can spot broken sewage near it on the esplanade.
The food wasn't good. It didn't taste good and was extra greasy and overly seasoned.
It felt like lots of the food was 'recycled' from other servings.
The suites had a couple poor complimentary
Cookies and two small water bottles. Gee, thanks.
The baby playground was a mess, filled with trash, choking hazards and cutting hazards.
Tl;dr if you love yourself don't ever book it
Very nice hotel for families.
Like the shore, swimming pool. Very good breakfast.
A beautiful boutique hotel right in the beach. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Nice balcony to sit out and enjoy the ocean breeze.
Boutique hotel located at on of most beautiful places on the beach. A bit far from city center
Beautiful, large rooms. Great dining room. Nice pool.
The whole hotel's design is beautiful.
The staff is kind, there is enough parking space for the guests of the hotel.
There was something wrong with one of the lamps in the room, but it didn't bothered us and the tub was not as clean as it should have been.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay.
Hotel was recently renovated. Rooms are clean and modern. Breakfast was ok. There is a spa and a pool. Beach is right outside the hotel but you can't swim in it. Achziv beach is 5 minute drive from there and it's very nice
Nicely renovated. High quality rooms and awesome sea view. Recommend.
Great location. Clean and large rooms. Breakfast is incredible b
Great hotel. Beautiful sea view and great food!
Brought my family to this hotel for 3 nights as it was #2 on tripadvisor and because it stated plainly that there is a pool and that the hotel is on the beach. We thought it would be great for the kids to go swimming in the evenings. HUGE disappointment. The hotel pool closes at 5pm! The hotel is "technically" near the beach but you can't actually SWIM in this beach. There is no direct access from the hotel to the beach, the nearest beach where you can swim is DRIVING distance. There are also no shops or any commercial areas within walking distance so you have to drive everywhere!
Breakfast was sparse, they have cereals, fruits and some baked goods and pancakes. You'd think for the price of these rooms there would at least be an omlet station but no such luck. Also the entire hotel is really dark, there is no natural light to be found, the hallways constantly look like they are blacked out and lit by emergency lighting. We think it's a design decision but it looks really spartan.
The cleanliness of the hotel is not great saw some bugs both in rooms and in hallways, dishes at breakfast were dirty and the parking lot in the back smells like an open sewer. Not too fussed about this but it may bother those with more refined tastes.
The rooms are dual suites (though each room within a suite is quite small), the bathroom in our room was large though with both a shower and a bath. There is no bar or any place to get so much as a cup of coffee in the lobby but there is a kettle and coffee provided in the room.
I would not recommend it for families with young children, more fit for couples. However, the one nice thing for children is that across the street there is a large well-stocked playground. The problem with this place is that it is a motel which is marketing itself as a resort which I feel is completely dishonest and really messed up our vacation. The hotel is completely overpriced for what it is. As a motel it is decent, as a resort it is a complete failure.
Nice nice nice and nice
Awesome place to spend holidays at its big and there is alot to do in the city and the hotel it self i recommend every one to visit it
Very nice and romantic hotel. So clean, nice staff and good food. Perfect location just near the sea and the boardwalk. A small and intimate hotel. Huge rooms, very clean and perfect furniture and design. (Especially the bathroom ^^')
