Was fun, bit empty and I came in a rush. Got a lot of inspiration for my own projects and hobbies and the staff is nice all over the museum.

Impressive historical and archeological museum showcasing exhibits spanning all periods of the region of Eretz Israel, with coins, mosaics, ceramics and various tools. The museum was built around Tel Kasila, the remains of a Philistine city from the 12th century BC. Impressive views of Tel Aviv from the top of the hill!

If you are looking for a quiet museum with nice exhibitions and some information about the history of israel and it's beautiful cultures, this place is good for you. Also, the parking is nearby and in normal price.

A mishmash of items, things. It seems everybody wanted to contribute and emptied their cellars. Some pavillions were interesting and the escavations were too, but in some parts there was trash everywhere. I would spend the 52 NS entrance fee some place else.

Located in the north of the city is this spacious and well laid out museum. There is an entry charge. A very good shop and cafe add to the experience.

One of the main museums in Israel, hosts all kinds of exhibition. Was there as a child and now I brought my child there to an exhibition that fits her age. They have a planetarium there (Cinema only, don't expect to see real stars) and I fondly remember a dinosaur show my parents took me to as a child.

Excellent. The museum has a variety of art. We eent to a very interesting itinerary exposition. (On the edge isreali paper ) Well explained, and marvelous works. The other expositions were also worth. We saw season of birds photographs , Joy birds, and Fire photographs.

Nice exhibitions for children and adults, each on a separate building with walking distance between them. All explained in Hebrew and English. Recommended are the glass works exhibition and the coin collection.
Planetarium shows for space travelers.

The gift shop was good if a little expensive.
I had lunch at the Italian restaurant attached to the building. The food was good too. Waiters pleasant if a little slow.
The coin collection was fascinating as was the ethnolographic exhibit. Postal museum also quite fascinating.
Different parts of the museum as quite far apart so be prepared for a walk and a climb.
Archelogical exhibits also interesting. Flour mill and an olive press. Worth a visit if you have 4 hours or so.response / report this review -

was at the Exhebition of "Extreme situation -Israeli paper" מצבי קיצון נייר ישראלי it was an outstanding collection of artworks all made out of paper. the show that the musicianTahel klein performed was a mixture of electronic music and led lights a live visual art and she was amazing! u can see some of it at the pics attached. but I recommend you to check it out your self,I'm sure u will enjoy.

Nice museum for occasional exוbits. The exhibits which are permanent are a little boring for my taste. More for people who are interested in archeology.
