The boardwalk in the beach were really really nice and tourist-friendly if they have cold showers so you can hose yourself off after you come out of the Dead Sea and yes they also have changing rooms

Very good experience with the Dead sea! I enjoyed my stay there very well! Useful showers, changing cabins, toilets and very nice shop with souvenirs. Awesome surrounding. Very recommended!

The beach was reconstructed, added new facilities, it's became bigger and more comfortable. But.. the toilets were closed , not sufficient amount of changes room, people are waiting to change, not clean around, the construction works are still going on.. . So, be prepared!

This is a pretty good place to take a dip in the Dead Sea. Warning: the public changing “rooms” are actually just an outdoor room. One room. Always a line up. The women’s line up is always longer. They’ve put artificial sand down to make it a beach. It’s easy to walk in and wade in the sea. Out further the bottom is rock salt a little hard on your feet.

Beautiful public beach with amazing views. Restaurant and souvinere shops. Well maintained and up to date amenities including high pressure showers to wash off salt from body. Plenty of space for everyone.

A new beach that spreads all along Ein Bokek.
Finished building in 2017.
Now it is a blast to visit dead sea.
Very beatiful at night. Very calm.
Can see swimming people at all hours of day, yes even in the night.
Perfect for romantic night swim with your loved ones.
The water reflects the stars and the hotels.

Very nice sand beach (in dead sea there is no sand and lots of rocks, so sand is good). Lots of shade areas to hide from the sun. Also there is an entrance to a place in shadow in the water. Also there is an option to rent chairs. When we go to the dead see we go there.

A beautiful beach in the desert that is a must see. The surface of the dead sea is going back by 1.5 metres a year, so its possible not to have this experience any more in the future. Dont read big size newspapers i the water as it will works as sails..

החוף הציבורי המוסדר החינמי כמעט היחיד כרגע בים המלח. החוף מאוד נעים ומרווח. שירותים לא נמצאו בקרבת מקום (היו נעולים). תא הלבשה לנשים וגברים בכניסה לחוף, מקלחת פתוחה וברזים לרחיצת רגליים ביציאה מהחוף. בתוך הים נמצא קצת לכלוך: בדלי סיגריות ושקיות ניילון.
מעבר לכך חוויה מאוד מרעננת.
The almost only free public beach at the moment at the Dead Sea. The beach is very pleasant and wide. Toilet were not found nearby (were locked). A dressing room for women and men at the entrance of the beach, and an open shower at the exit of the beach. There was a bit of dirt in the sea: cigarette budes and plastic bags.

The beach has facilities for shower and chairs can also be taken for a small money. Clean and beautiful beach for getting yourself wet in the dead sea. There are some shops just before the before entrance selling cosmetics, dead sea mud and various other things.

Great public beach on the Dead Sea. There are canopies and changing rooms along with public restrooms. There are areas to wash yourself off after dipping in the sea, since there's so much salt it feels oily.
Dress code is casual. There are women in bikinis on the beach.
Beware (especially women), don't shave before going into the Dead Sea. The salt will make the area irritated with a burning sensation.response / report this review -

All you need to have the ultimate dead sea experience - a public free of charge beach, shadow on land, shadow in the dead sea (spend by nice little roofs), showers to get rid of the salt & free drinking water. And important: It's very clean! Easy to reach by busses 486 or 384.

Very clean. It's a unique experience to be able to float in water! We went when it was 45° C outside and although boiling hot, it was still worth it! Definitely recommend to buy the dead sea mud and paint yourselves. It's a great Kodak shot and comes right off. There are refreshing outdoor showers to rinse off. There's also a mehadrin cafe nearby. A MUST WITH THE FAMILY!

Beach is a public one (free), conveniently located to bus stop where 421 bus comes from Tel Aviv. Beach is equipped with dressing rooms, showers, toilets, and area covered with tent, which gives shadow, is nice to relax under. There is no free mud but it can be purchased in several shops close by. Great experience, recommended

The Dead Sea is a must see in Israel. Very nice public and free beach. Be sure to bring towels as I could not find anywhere to rent them. Very Very hot there in July. The water was so hot it was more like a hot tub. There are showers and small changing areas. Did not see a place to rent chairs. There are large shaded areas which help shield the very hot sun. There are even some shaded areas in the water !

The beach is very clean and secure. But you have to pay 20 shekel per lounger, but there is no information about this beforehand. The entrance is free. And pending in salty water is incredible. You are not allowed to stay overnight there. It closes at 4 pm.

Building new beach areas, when finished it will be beautiful. Stayed at the Daniel Hotel. I would not recommend the hotel.

Virtually the only public beach in the dead sea. The experience highly depending on season and timing. It's not a big place and daily visitors will fill it. But, you get a chance for a cheap deep in the marvellous water. There's bathrooms and changing rooms. Showers and lifeguard. Nearby kiosk. There's public charge for parking (which is relatively low. I think 5 NIS per hour). Not many parking spaces.
