  Very small airport. If some flights are delayed it get crowded at not pleasant level.

  I love taking local flights from small airports. Walking across the tarmac to the plane takes me back to my childhood years. A well equipped and comfortable airport with enough facilities to make your wait comfortable. Easy and quick check in, but loads of security (understandable ). Easy boarding 😀 less hassle than most flights !

  Small scale airport. After security at the bottom floor there is a place to buy food and toilets. Very pricy though. Enjoy your flight.

  Airport still closed 1.5 hours before flight on Saturday afternoon with no information.
  No shaded areas with bench. Enjoy your wait here :/
  Once inside, there are 18 seats in total waiting for passengers in the airport

  Better don't cross the border from Jordan and fly at the same day. My girlfriend and I were seperated and questioned more than 90 minutes and we only had a domestic flight to Tel Aviv. It came to a point when I finally was thinking myself that I have done something illegal. They wanted our credit cards, bus tickets from 2 weeks earlier, bills of our rental car from 2 weeks earlier, searched our baggage more than once.
  I know that Israel has certain security concerns but this is way too much. If they want to know if someone has placed something in our bags they should just search them, ask us the basic security questions and let us go.
  All that I have heard, 24 year old backpackers pretty much seem to be their main victims at airports.
  All in all this lead to the point that I am never ever going to go back to Israel again, although it is a pretty country.

  This small airport is located in the centre of town. You exit onto a main road. We walked a few blocks to our hotel.

  The 1 star is for the good location the airport is located at, other than that the staff all the way from the check-in to the security personnel is way beneath criticism and very bad. Instead of providing service to customers in a mannerly way it seemed like they do the opposite on purpose. Taking the bus next timehopefully one of these days we will have a railway system to Eilat!

  Never Ever Again
  If you are single and age between 25-45 which ever nationally you have prepare below questions. Because All of us in the tour had been questioned and 2 has been send to searched room because for no reason.
  Why are you here?
  What is you father name?
  What is your mother name ?
  How did you come?
  Do you have weapon?
  What is the purpose of the tour?
  Why Petra?
  Which countries have you visited this year?
  Even I am not writing other sensible questions?
  and prepare not once you will go over one over again at least for 2 officer.
  Therefore allow good 5-10 min silly question time if you are above age group after lovely relaxing petra trip .
