Used to be better. Looks and feels tired. Chicken strips still great though.

This place has ups and downs. The food is always great, with a wide selection of dishes, and especially Persian ones. Their service varies from OK to terrible: once, at breakfast, we were told in advance that we had the table for only 1.5 hours, then had to wait for the omelettes for over an hour (!). They then gave us the coffee in a to-do cup (after ordering it 4 times), because we were out of time!
It took a lot of persuasion (and time) to get me to agree to go back after that incident.

Every dish is great (I mean it), especially the ones called "our specials". The (relatively) recent inclusion of first dishes to the lunch menu made visiting Edna an even more enjoyable experience.
Be sure to try their specialty bread!

No restaurant I know has been able to sustain such a level of excellence for such a long time. This is not a gourmet restaurant, but the food here is simply delicious. Every dish is made to perfection. Never fails.

We used to come here often, for the homey cuisine, which was always consistent. We felt it was a good alternative (price and quality) to cooking at home. Not outstanding, but good enough for every member of the family to find something suitable in the menu. Our last visit was very average, the main courses were average and we should have skipped the deserts- very plain, not worth their calories. It was more expensive than mandating, setting a higher expectations with us for price paid. OK place and no more than that.

Had a breakfast with my wife on Friday morning.
The place was very crowded, we were lucky to have a reservation
The variety of the buffet is great and everything was very tasty.
service was excellent - it is definitely one of the best breakfasts in Israel

Food is not bad. When the place isn't busy it can be a nice place to chill out and eat a good homey dish. Don't expect Tel Aviv quality food and you'll be fine. They only accept cash (!!) so come prepared.

    They don't accept credit cards

Edna is fantastic. The food is superb and everyone who eats here raves about it. The prices aren't cheap, but you're getting what you pay for. It's one of the few places in Israel that I'm willing to order steak because it's great quality. If you're looking for a high-end restaurant (but still casual), try this place out, you won't regret it.
