One of the gorgeous churches of Ein Karem, commemorating the visit of Virgin mary to Elizabeth.
What i recommend is to go and see the byzantine and crusader remains of the church, and to feel the soul inspiration inside it.

Place where Mary mother of Jesus met Elizabeth the mother of John the Baptist, set on a hill the church has a beautiful modern day sculpture and the church on top has lovely paintings depicting various events in Mary's life.

Situated high overlooking Ein Kerem, the church area is beautiful. Apart from the view and the nice climb up to the church, there are cute gardens and nice historical buildings. The church itself is nice, especially the mosaic of animals.
