I will never RENT BUDGET ISRAEL again!- Terrible Service looking to cheat the customer. I arrived in March 2018 at Airport and waited for 90 min for a pre-order while all the other rental desks had 10-20 min wait time Max. Then I was given a car to notches down from my Hotwire order- with the claim that Nisan Micra is better than Kia Rio- the car is twice smaller. Then only to find out they dont have carry Kia Rio. They would not accept my Chase credit Card Auto Rental Collision Damage Waiver and basically trippled the order price with Insurance and airport pick up fee. I tried to return the car the next day only to find out the only branch in Israel that operates after 6pm is at the Airport. I returned the car 10 hrs later and cancelled my 18 day rental and was still charged 94 USD per one day instead 54USD. I wrote to customer service and they didn't address most of the points. I will never RENT BUDGET ISRAEL again!

Bought a second hand car there great pre sale service but it took 5 post sale visits and over a month for them to provide the spare key that they promised at time of purchase

I took one hour before we had a car because they didnt receive our reservation. There is a airport fee you have to pay but that is not on the site. They found the reservation but then they gave us a broken car. After 2 hours we finally had a car.

Budget here is not a regular car rental. The service is slow. Employees are rude. I received a very dirty car. Sticky steering wheel. And the windshield water dose not work. When I called they rodent even say that they are sorry. And it's more like "what do you want. ?!?!?" Please don't be surprised. Read review. Wish I did.

Getting the car was really slow. I spend over an hour in the queue and was one of the last people to receive the car.

The car was in excellent condition with only 25.000km on the counter.

Dropping the car off was a breeze and no unexpected extras were charged.

Most incompetent service I've ever had. They charged me twice the price of renting a car and I've been arguing with them over the phone for 3 weeks now. They admitted that they need to give me the money back and keep promising me that it will take another 2 or 3 days. Needless to say, I haven't seen any money. They are liars and thieves.

Firstly, I received a car full of bumps and scratches, and they hardly paid attention to me in marking all the faults in the paper/report.
Arriving at my destination, I found out the locking system didn't work. I have waited 3-4 hours for a tecnitian who reported the office that I needed a new car. They wouldn't send anyone to replace the car and demanded I came myself to get a new one.
I have requested to be compensated since I used half a day on picking it up. They said that the person in charge weren't there and that they would compensate me upon return. I had 3 people writing my complaint, but somehow it was not kept on the case.
Upon return I had to tell my story again!
No one has ever returned to me, as I suspected.
It was the worst service ever!!

Worse car rental ever. They gave me a four-year old car with almost 65,000 miles. Full of scratches - I had to take picture so they don't charge me afterwards. That's the kind of cars they have. Service is bad, and their excuse is "we are an independent company and don't have anything to do with Budget". If you still want to rent from them, be advised - and get ready to suffer as I did.

The staff are great and renting was easy. This review is more for Budget Car Rental than for this particular branch. The problem: I received no advance notification that additional insurance was required in Israel. This insurance cost more than the car. If it is not optional, it should be made clear on their website booking system.
