The Hamusta Kubbeh that this spot cannot be beat. Favorite Kubbeh in Jerusalem and perfect for a cold day.
Great food, great service. Great spot to watch the world go by while escaping the heat too! The shashukra was top notch and went very well with the local beer. Highly recommend!
Food was a bit less than average, we set at a terribly dirty table and it was cleaned on us. It took a long time for the dish (wrong dish) to get to us. More expensive than it's really should be worth

Horrible service. Horrible food. The vegetarian Meal was spoiled and the food was overpriced
Attentive staff, great atmosphere and food!
We had dinner here. Ordered lamb kabobs which were fantastic, flat bread with chef's dips, and soup.
Flavors were special, service was attentive and friendly.
A little challenging to locate but you'll be glad you found it.
The waiters are really nice and funny but a little bit slow. The food is good but quite expensive (at least the lamb stew). There seem to be varying special offers at night time!
The one star is because of the friendly service. The food is barely edible. The food reminds me of the food that was served in the 80's and was probably when it was made and reheated (poorly) today. Save your time and money.
Only good thing in this place is wine. Do not order food there! Danger of serious disappointment יקר מאוד
Ate here on my first night in Jerusalem. The waiters were funny and accommodated us and my elderly dad. Tried the Israeli wine here which was nice and lamb stew was nice too. Apparently the Chicken was a bit dry but my dad doesn't like breast anyway
The food here is nothing less than INSULTING, this "220 gram" hamburger costs 45₪ was served almost completely cold yet somehow burnt, the beer that came along with it was completely flat. We were also served cold hummus which they claim was made "on the spot" yet taseted as industrial as they come. The soups are relatively fine but somewhat overpriced and bland.
Staff were nice at first but once we expressed dissatisfaction we were almost completely ignored.
Avoid
I'm local. For me the food was extremely mediocre and absolutely nothing special. Better go eat someplace else. Staff was really friendly and attentive.
Tourists trap. We took the Jerusalem Mix with rice and salad. Everything had absolutly no flavor, like cheap cafeteria food. The service was terrible and slow, the toilets were nasty. Very high prices for the value. Only go if you're starving and all the other places are full.
Bad service, the employees treated us not kind at all. Table was dirty, glasses were broken plus dirty, we didn’t get napkins even the whole team was tired and mad.
Overpriced for the food served which lacks a bit of taste. The staff is not attentive as well so that makes a difference.
awesome place, we've kept comming back. good food, friendly people. you have to try the kube soups and various hummus options
Very average food with a very pushy staff.
Some of the waiters here are very pushy and spent a lot of time trying to upswell us the special and the more expensive alcohol. We had made our choice but they kept insisting. I had to tell them no.
Service was slow as they were more concerned with the larger table and when we did get their attention we felt rushed.
The food was very average, I could have gone to any other restaurant or fast food restaurant and gotten the same quality food anywhere else.
Seriously a tourist trap, you'll have better value at the Mahane Yehuda market and the food will be much better tasting.
Won't be coming back here.
Absolutely fantastic! Lentil soup with a touch of Moroccan flavor, lamb kebab in cinnamon stick, so tasty. Service outstanding. Highly recommended they even brought me a blanket. Very kind.
When you leave restaurant with this strange feeling that you are treated like idiot just becasue you are tourist.
First time in Israel, stopped by for dinner and it was very good. Great atmosphere, really cool place!
(This is only for the soups:) Have you ever felt LOVE in your food? This is the place. From the hosts to the servers to the food. Emotionally and flavorful pampering your belly and soul. You taste the love in the food. Authentic israeli warmth!!! FYI main course isn't really worth it. It's the soups are their real specialty.
Had a really good meal. Staff very accommodating for my vegetarian daughter. The poka stew was delicious. Lamb kebabs with fries and Israeli salad. Flat bread with dips recommended for starter. A nice find for a late night dinner
Tried to rip us off by charging twice for our food. And did rip us off by charging more for the 'special' than the same dish was on the menu. Jeez, leaves such a bad-taste and all for an extra few Shekels (and then no tip). What's the point?! It ain't smart; it's just nasty.
