2hr queues at budget, STRONGLY recommend you use ANY other agent, most of them had little or no queues compared to Budget that was practically queuing out of the building

I've been charged following a booking, and haven't received any invoice. I've tried several times to reach them, via email and telephone and haven't had any responses. Worst client support ever. I would definitely not recommend this rental company to anyone.

I am including the picture of the manager, he was rude, violent and wanted to collect usd 200 More than the reservation cost. He refused to honor the reservation and got the money from my credit card!!! We had to call the police! Whatch out! #budgethell pls RT!

They gave us a damaged, dangerous car. We were lucky it worked until the very end, when the battery died on our way back to return it.
Once the battery died, we called to ask them what to do, but could not reach them — no one answered the phone. For one hour. Finally we left the car, walked across town to the office where the manager made us wait 20 minutes and then instructed us to go back and wait for a mechanic at the car and then come all the way back to return it.
We came all the way to Israel to visit family at great expense and instead of spending time together, we spent our entire Sunday waiting for a mechanic. The manager wasn’t even apologetic — he said “it happens” and “that’s life.” He was unbelievably rude and unhelpful. He wouldn’t give us his personal number in case the mechanic didn’t show up. (He was quite late).
Learn from our experience: the cars are dangerous, budget will not answer their phones in an emergency and the customer service is incompetent and hostile. They will not take responsibility for their products. Literally any other car rental service would be better. Literally any other mode of transportation would be better.response / report this review -

Budget Car charged us 1700 USD for a underbody damage we don't make. Don't rent a car by this Company. Very bad company. We are very disappointed of this people the Abused our trust.

If 0 stars were an option, that's what I'd give them. We arrive 15 minutes before the rental period ended, they made us wait in line for 20+ minutes to return the car before telling us that the car return location is actually on a different street (with absolutely zero signage or directions that would have indicated this beforehand) when we went move the car and return it at the "correct" location, we were told that we were too late and the branch had closed. Thankfully one fine employee recognized the absurdity of the situation and allowed us to return the car, but that was just one out of the 5 others that shouted "I don't care" at us. Also - in the price they quote, they fail to mention the mandatory $20+USD charge for insurance. Buyer beware.

This is the worst place I ever went to rent a car! The manager, Agmon Ben Tsvi is stuborn and didn't want to know nothing. Plus the car was dirty when I got it

I order "Honda Civic or similar" from Budget in Tel Aviv airport via expedia, specified day and time, was quoted price but had to pay at location. Once in Budget, car was not ready for another hour and a half even so I specify time of my arrival to airport (another hour before I get to Budget). The car I got was Nissan Juke and when I complained attendant say that this is similar to Civic. In fact - they do not have any Civic and all, this is just an advertisement gimmick. Also they will not release a car without "mandatory" insurance which doubled quoted price. Did not had any other issues like with gas or returning car but would not go there again.

Rented a car, not the best customer service.
Drove it to Jerusalem and the car broke down, I had the car jumped and returned to Jerusalem budget but the manager said they could not adjust the fees even though the car was broken, i would have to take it up with Budget at the Dan Tel Aviv Hotel, they have been impossible to get in touch with. This is very likely the worse company you can rent cars from. They gave me a 4-year old car with almost 65,000 miles, full is scratches. The excuse was "it's a busy weekend". Please! Be advised if you still want to rent cars from Budget.

This was an absolutely awful experience. The car was dirty. The trunk would not stay up or lock (it nearly hit us a few times and hit me on the back once). A warning indicator light was on at time of rental; and the car was dirty. We were gouged on an upgrade -- over 200 % of the original rental price on the upgrade alone. Given an opportunity to help us after the rental, the location declined. Stay away from this location.
