We took our dog, brought water with us which was good cuz water fountains were not working. Bathrooms were very clean, great weather with cool breeze.

Great day with the family. Open areas to picnic and places for bikes and scooters. Restaurants weren't open yet. Lots of fishing, snorkeling and parasailing.

A well maintained park with beautiful historic spots. You get to watch a short video about that time when Herods ruled. Really interesting. Plus, there are restaurants and ample parking.

The park is well maintained and it explains pretty high entrance fees. Overall had a nice experience. It's empty because of Covid, but restaurants and cafes inside the port are open.

Highly Recommended place to visit in Israel.
This site is an Israeli National Park.
You can visit every day from 8 o’clock till 4 pm and during daylight saving up to 6:00 pm.
The site itself is the Roman city built by King Herod the great approximately 2000 years ago.
Beautiful walk on the beach and nice restaurant in the old port side.

This is easily one of the best ancient cities in Israel. It's very well preserved and they are going to great lengths to maintain and restore it.

Nice and picturesque place. An ancient port and city from herodian times. You'll definitely like this place if it's your first time here. But this place is not too interesting to visit it more than once.

My favorite park. Next to my home as well. I'm visiting whenever i have guests from overseas. It well care area and they are reconstructing the past. it would be very nice place to visit in 2020.

An amazing site that needs a good curator.
Has too many commercial establishments (mostly restaurants) right on site - bizarre for a national heritage site. To avoid these altogether I recommend entering from the south entrance where the more interesting sites are anyway.

The theatre and Hippodrome really evoke the era of King Herod the great. The man made harbour and palace are interesting, too. A number of important events in the Old and New Testaments, and the intertestamental period, happened here.

A very good place to visit and look at the Roman ruins. Restaurants are clean and offer a good variety of delicious food. The beach is clean and beautiful.

Great place for a walk with kids! Restaurants' prices are way too high, so don't eat there. Only Bella ice cream place is good in both prices and taste.

Historic ruins, great weather at spring and fall times. The park has some fine restaurants as well. Great to pass the time, learn some history, or just walk around with the kids

Great place for a day trip. It's full of history and they often have discussion events. There are archaeological digs that are always exposing new things. It is connected to the Caesarea port, where there are some great art galleries and restaurants.

Very well set up for tourists. Easy to get around, plenty of signs. Opening hours are accurate for ticket office, but park opens later than listed hours.

Unpretentiously walked in the park and was surprised by a very beautiful place, full of history and natural beauty from the sea.
I recommend the entrance that gives access to the theater/film, because it brings some interesting information and curiosities, actually 2 movies in 2 different places.
I visited alone but obviously groups are welcome. I saw at least 3 dining options, plus a few snack bars. The day I visited it was a holiday and the park was full of families and children, strolling and piquenique.
