food excellent. had onion soup and salad with fried halumi cheese. Strawberry shortcake exquisite. Service quick pleasant and informed. beautiful view of tzvat and North. Recommend highly. Enjoy. B"teavon. Bon appetit.

We had the house salad and the spicy ravioli. Both were excellent. Salad had some unusual items: sauteed mushrooms, walnuts, and sweet potato slices, along with the usual lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, and cucumbers. Salad also came with goat cheese on some great dark bread. Ravioli sauce had just the right amount of hotness.

An excellent dining experience. Food prepared with love and know-how, pleasant and engaging waitstaff, and topnotch atmosphere with amazing views of Mount Meron and neighboring valleys. We sat on the upper covered deck with soft Israeli music hovering in the background of our conversation. I enjoyed the Pizza Margherita- a simple pie that was perfectly baked. My wife ordered the Argerysomus fish main course with herb rice; which she finished. The mint water was fresh also. We ate and were satisfied for under 200 shekels.we highly recommend this place.

Tzfat is a small town and Gan Eden is a kosher, dairy restaurant serving salads, pastas, fish, and more. The food is good. It's not a high end restaurant, but it IS sweet, warm, great views, yummy food with a nice variety. It is one of my favorite restaurants (in the world!). I have a pretty narrow diet and they have always been kind about preparing the food the way I need or omitting the things I can not eat. One of the reviews I read complained about the time it took to get their order in. Welcome to Israel. Just ask for what you need. If you're in a hurry, tell them and they will accommodate you. Gan Eden is the top place I take my visiting friends to enjoy an unhurried meal in a gentle environment. If you're staying in the Old City you'll need a car or taxi to get you there. It's worth it in my opinion.

If you are seriously into healthy eating this is not the place, everything is coated in soya oil (from pasta sauce to roasted and stir fried veggies in the salads), so after everyone having stomach pains the following day after eating here, we will not be returning to this place - not at all recommended unless you just have a slice of bread and cheese or maybe just a coffee! I spoke to the chef/ manager about our food poisoning and he couldn't have cared less - very disappointing !

Best salads ever!!! Huge, fresh, great value and tasty! We shared the Greek salad and the Haloumi with Figs salad and they were both amazing! Also ordered the fettuccine with Mushroom Spinach sauce, was also delicious! Will be back for sure!response / report this review
