Great location for camping and BBQ. Plenty of shade from trees. Maintained toilets and enough parking. Nice view of the bay below and planty of nature to see around

wonderful forest that placed on the camel mountain and very near to the road from Haifa to osfiya.
The roads inside the forest are very easy to handle with a private car and also with a bus.
DeForest is very clean and the roads for The Travelers inside him are signed and clear to understand.
There is a beautiful view from DeForest to the northern part of Israel - the area of acre, and in a clear day you can easily see the mountains in the northern border with lebanon.

The Hecht archaeological museum did a great job in transporting and reconstructing ancient remains from around the country at this park. An entire triple Byzantine olive press was brought in from south west Haifa.. The mountain top views of the coastal planes and the Haifa Gulf are gorgeous. Large sacred oaks that signify the annual meeting place of 40 souls according to local traditions.

We went there for a barbecue, very clean (keep it that way) great view, toilet, large garbage container, as long as the general public will take care this is going to be awesome for several more years.

Excellent Picnic/BBQ spot right next to the university, and very close to Haifa. Neat and clean with lots of marble tables, old trees and especially a great view on Emek Yezreel. As the sun set it got a little cold and we found ourselfs inside a low cloud that passed on the mountain. Awesome!
