We ate it all to the last crumb. One of the best food we tested in Israel . Ask for St Peters fish. And try with sause made of olive oil , lime and garlic . Pita bread grilled with garlic and sweet potatoes come along well.
Chose this restaurant based on other Google reviews and weren't disappointed! Avi was welcoming and friendly, as expected. The hummus and grilled fish were delicious.
Delicious and good service. Not too expensive you get a lot for your money. Two main dishes with water costs about 140 Schekel.
Mini pizza, olives are a free side dish and a small dessert ( honey melon and date) is free too.
The people there speak very good english.
We loved this restaurant. The owner was very hands on and the food was very good. We had the kebab which was well above average, the chicken stir fry, vegetable soup, and the Mediterranean fish. The fish was not cheap so I asked if would deliver before we bought it and he said we would not pay if we didn't love it We paid.
Great food. Starters delicious. Service fast. Cost is reasonable. Definitely 5 star quality.
Great food and a unique experience. We were served by Avi himself who recommended a great meal for our party of 8. It gets crowded, but you can't miss eating at Avi's when you are in Tiberius.
The best Israeli style restaurant I've been to in Israel.
Excellent Israeli food.
Huge variety and very generous.
Prices are at the higher end but worth the experience.
Really friendly and amazing service and best food in the area
If you have one meal in Tiberias then make sure it's here! Food is delicious and filling and the staff are very friendly.
Very touristic place. The owner is wannabe charming and tries to convince guests to order more.
Best restaurant in the area. Avi walks around and talks with the guests and makes sure the food is to everyone's satisfaction. He even threw in some free churros at the end. Great place and atmosphere too. You won't regret coming here.
A local recommended this restaurant to us, and it was amazing. Delicious hummus, amazing lamb, and perfectly spiced Mediterranean chicken. Would recommend to anyone in the area.
The hummus was amazing and served with plenty of olives, pita and fried tortillas (which were also really good). The kebab and chicken dishes came out on one platter, and was well presented and tasted great.
As for the other posters that state they saw the chef smoking, have you not travelled Israel? I do not smoke and hate the smell, but there are clearly no smoking laws regarding food here as almost every restaurant had people smoking in it. The alternative is spending double the price for food in our hotel which is only a 5 minute walk from the restaurant.
The food was ok, but far from great. The place seems authentic, the staff is very kind and Avi himself takes time to sit down and have a chat. What we really cannot approve of: we caught the chef smoking in the kitchen.
