  No problems at this border. In our case there were a lot less questions than at gen gurion.

  8.28.17 - friendly guards. You have to pay the border crossing fee, then go through passport review, then you walk across a demilitarized zone to Jordan station where they check your visa and you negotiate a taxi ride with the Taxi Mafia. It cosy us 15 JD. There's no cash machine at the station.
  
  Everything is 'loose' on the Jordan side.

  Travelled into Israel from Jordan not really knowing what to expect. Taxi from downtown to Aqaba to the border was 8 JD. From there it was extremely plain sailing, through a bag scan, passport check and exit stamp on the Jordanian side. Across to Israel, some questions about our reasons for visiting Israel, bag scanned, passports checked (a/c room was lovely). Given entry card seperate from passport and straight into a taxi to central Eilat 40 NIS. No other people in sight, took about 20 minutes total at the border.

  20-25 minutes to get through the border. (both ways)
  55 shekels tax to exit Israel
  Waiting areas with air co on the Israeli side while waiting for the taxi.
  On Israeli side, taxi is 40 shekels from the border to the airport. (taxi meter)
  On Jordan side, 15 dinars from the border to Aqaba downtown (flat fee)

  We took a cab to the border. It took us 3 hours of going to various offices and line ups to walk across the border. Be sure to have plenty of Shekels and Dinars. You will need them for fees and the taxi on the other end. There were foreign exchange offices there, but they didn't open. The longer you stay in Jordan the more you get back upon your return (3 days is ideal). The border closes early on certain days, so ask about the day you plan on returning on. We just made the cut-off.

  I would like to know if TIR trucks can cross through this border from Jordan and transit to Egypt ?
  Can anyone tell me if this is possible.
