  An oasis in the desert, easy and short. The entrace is from Ben Gurion college, after short drive you reach the entrace. There are 2 options, to go as far as you want (probably just before the climb to the upper parking) and come back or to reach the upper parking which require another car. The short track is around 1-2 hourse maybe even less depend on pace and rest.

  Very easy trail, suitable for families. The short trail has a small waterfall at the end, at least when we were there in the winter.

  Very good place to see at desert. Very nice mountains. Shade almost until afternoon. You can see animals if arrive early.

  One of the must visit points in Israel. Dramatic views and easy track. Caveat - the track is quite long. Have 2 cars one for picking your team up at the exit point. Prepare a tele lens and a wide angle one. You should love each shot.

  Unique in it's beati, Ein Ovdat Canyon is a great place for short family hike. You can hike up to the small water fall and back (fit for small children) or all the way to the top (fit for children 3 years old).
  In order to hike to the top you need to climb two ladders and have an extra car at the end of the hike (it's a one way trip)
  But the view from the monks caves and the top of the canyon is worth it.
