Perfect place to rest your head at a good price with facilities to suit everyone. Food is excellent and a wide choice with nothing overpriced. And finally the Guinness is perfect. I shall return very soon!

Staff were very helpful and friendly , however the food was terrible . First the wrong food came out then when they brough the correct food it was very cold as if it came from a freezer. Second time this has happened to me here inside one year .Very annoying as it is such a basic request .

While the accommodation screams the need to escape from the 80's, the restaurant/bar area offers fair no fuss rustic meals and beverages in an equally confused rustic setting.
Best time to pay the Yeats a visit is when they offer the carvery. Lovely..! Very filling and leaves you feeling like Mum has cooked the best roast ever!
Children are welcome, which is a bonus for families looking for somewhere to eat on a Sunday.
I wish this hotel could decide on one style throughout its premises. The chic French château exterior simply doesn’t follow inside.
Expect to see the eating areas conflict with Wild West Saloon, staged with bits of modernity and 80's pine thrown into the mix.
While an effort has been made to reference the eponymous writer through artifacts strewn about the walls, W.B is lost amongst all the heavy Wild West wood. Barking!
That said, I actually like the heavy wooden theme. I wood (OK, couldn't resist !!) love to see this rustic Wild West style followed into all areas of this Wild West of Ireland hotel and reflected more in the food.
Finally, I would love a new name to showcase my rustic dream for this hotel/eatery.

two of us had fish dishes described as 'fresh' on the menu, but we thought they were old and stale. Andy had the slow cooked belly pork which he liked and ate with gusto. The 'sherry' trifle definitely had never seen any sherry. Atmosphere and service were pleasant. We might try again but will avoid the fish.
